Absolutely. Because it featured a massive all out invasion by the Borg. Something I had been wanting to see (or read about) for years. And David Mack had a solid reputation as a writer.

So, Trump used to slam Obama for holidays and is quoted as saying "never take vacations, if you don't love the work you're in the wrong job".

    He's off on a 17-day vacation.

Yes, I know but I can dream. It would make the other illegals shit their pants and run to the nearest greyhound station to buy tickets back home though.

I dream of lots of things too Dinner. I dream of my country being more like the way it was when I was growing up.

But my dreams don't include killing Mexicans and Muslims.

Wait, did you just say you were against the death penalty now? Because that is what I advocated for hard core repeat offenders.

I'm for the death penalty for murderers and the occasional treason and/or espionage. Against it for anything less.

if it hasn't been laid out before, the thesis of sod sanctuary city is this:

when people of questionable status, in terms of immigration, live in fear of interaction with the police because their status might be discovered and that lead to deportation (and given the rampage ICE is on to deport people who've been by every account great members of their community clearly that fear is valid) then those people will not report ANY crime or danger to the authorities, or assit in their pursuit of perpetrators when rimes come to the attention of police.

It makes it basically impossible for police to do their job in relation to these people and the communities they live in. For example, som punk rapes your underage daughter, and your whole family is afraid to report the crime lest people start getting deported - the result is that a rapist remains at large.

The choice to divorce local law enforcement from enforcement of immigration law is made in the pursuit of safety and justice for all members of the community, immigrant or not - not because it gives liberals warm fuzzies to know that fewer people get deported.

One can, of course, question that reasoning - but it is a perfectly valid line of reasoning, not "SJW bullshit"

    Indeed.

For anyone that wasn't paying attention, Dinner has come out in favour of executing illegal immigrants. But remember, it's the Muslims that are the animals. :borg:

Repeat offenders given that we routinely have illegals that are deported 20 or more times. Yes, that is a problem which needs to be solved and one we are not solving.

There has to be something greater and, yes, the terrorists are animals. You can pretend the rule of law is the same as terrorism but you are wrong.

I'm reminded again of RAH's short story "Coventry" - be nice if we had such a geographical location, and the means to seal it. All these assholes of whatever sort and belief system that think mass killing is a good plan could just be dropped off and we could let them sort amongst themselves who gets to kill whom.

You still can't kill an illegal immigrant for breaking in to the United States 20 times any more than you can shoot dead a person who 20 times trespasses into your yard and steals tomatoes from your garden .
