Syllogism: Nazis believe anyone who doesn’t have “blood in the face” deserves to be eliminated. Most if not all Americans with Nazi sympathies are Republicans/Libertarians. Therefore…
Rather than asking you yet again to define a word you're misusing, I'll just cut to the chase and say: Why am I not surprised that there is yet another political term you don't understand the definition of?
Who is Scott, and what does he have to do with any of this? In languages, words have certain meanings. When someone misuses a word, that doesn't change the meaning of the word.* Unless you actually think the DPRK is really a democratic republic? *The caveat to this being a longterm misuse of a word becoming so common across multiple generations so that the word ultimately does take on a different meaning in the culture.
Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States has clearly demonstrated fascist leanings in both his personal statements and in the policies and personnel choices for his administration. Therefore, everyone who voted for Donald J. Trump is, at best, a enabler of fascism or, at worst, a fascist themselves. One is evil and the other are blithering, willfully blind dupes. That doesn't speak highly of GOP leadership or GOP voters.
Again, simplistic. I don’t know you very well, but I suspect you have close family members who voted for Trump. I do. Do I think they’re fascists, nope. I think they voted for certain provisions whether it be the wall, immigration, standing with police, or simply making sure Trump nominates certain justices or even because they always vote R no matter what. How is that different from people who strategically vote Democratic? I mean it must be nice to sit up on your high horse and judge everyone else from that extremely high horse. BtW, the people you’re calling a Nazi and what not are my family so GFY.
Yep. They're blithering, willfully blind dupes. Let me give you an example. I was talking to a friend this evening who I know is a big Trump supporter. When I was discussing the veto override in the House and how they sent the $2,000 stimulus to the Senate, their response was, and I quote, "Yeah, but the Democrats in the Senate will add a bunch of riders to it so the Republicans have to vote no." The Democrats, in the House, passed it quickly. The Senate Democrats have already said they are ready to pass it as is, where is, how is. But, no, it takes a very special kind of stupid or a very special kind of blinder to blame the Democrats for not passing it. So, yeah, I'll stick with blithering, willfully blind dupes because that is being "nice."
Yes. Anyone who is ok with fascism if it gets them something else they want on the way is as much a fascist as anyone who wants fascism for its own sake.
Disagree. I’m not willing to call friends and family fascists. I may disagree with them, but I have to draw a line somewhere. And trust me, I have people who are full on,”Biden stole the election.” Call me a loyalist. So be it. I still tell them they’re wrong.
At some point you have to care more about your country than the feelings of your (fascist) friends and family.
You seem to have a fondness for history, so if you'd lived in 1920s/1930s Germany at which point would you have felt comfortable calling out your friends and family who supported a certain mustachioed politician?
Not all of them. Too many of them, to be sure. But not all of them. Some of them are merely gullible enough to be unwitting fascist enablers.
And it obviously isn't your dream, either, when you use that kind of vulgar, sexist imagry to insult a woman who has achieved something that no other woman in history has ever achieved. So don't blame the lack of healing on the Democrats, when you are clearly a part of the problem preventing it.
A totally ridiculous sentiment. A meaningless bumper-sticker slogan. In reality, humans cannot formulate statements other than as absolutes.
1) her race (whatever combination it is) has zero to do with anything. Weird how the people that say race shouldn't matter seem to bring it up the most often! 2) Kamaltoe is a distortion of Kamala for lighthearted yet disparaging & humorous effect. What you suggested I call her is incredibly offensive, mean spirited and as I explained nonsensical because it's not a twist on her actual name, which is the whole point. Amazing that I would have to explain this!
Yep. Just try to formulate a statement that is not an absolute. (Yes, I know one can formulate questions that are not absolutes; that's why I specified statements. The semantic analysis of questions is fundamentally different from the semantic analysis of statements.)
