It's all part of the mellowing out. A good many of us have become friends and that has spilled into the other forums. Nothing to get upset over. If anything it should just resolve you to go out and get one yourself.

Sherlock's avatar and Diacanu's avatar are too similar.

I'm inclined to agree with Ted, here. How many made-on-WF relationship haven't ended in a big ass blow-up of some kind? Come to think of it, the longest RR threads have usually been about relationship drama--PMB/Diacanu, Meka, CheekyMoney...

If I ever date one of you mugs, I won't be putting on a show about it until baby number three comes. :marathon:

Am I getting it mixed up? Didn't AM start it all off by saying he had read it in an LA trade paper?

It was my idea. I contacted Storm about it, who then helped me put the team together and contact everyone. The initial post was both me and Jeriko saying we just saw a segment on TV's 'Inside Edition' about Jolene Blalock having a huge argument with Rick Berman because they wouldn't let her out of the final year of her contract to join the cast of 'The West Wing' and essentially, walking out on ENT.

Storm decided to bring in actormike for some reason or another. I said it was a bad idea to go with the Variety article, because it could be easily verified by someone having access to the newspaper. The Inside Edition TV section was good enough.

actormike went ahead with it anyways, and sure enough, after a few hours, someone looked up the Variety paper and confirmed that the article wasn't there. (I wonder how many subscriptions Variety got that day though. )

After it was confirmed that the Variety article didn't exist, people started doubting the whole story, but by then, it didn't matter, because the damage had already been done. A bunch of news websites picked it up, including Dark Horizons, who reported it as fact before pulling the story and just saying it was a rumor. The panic may have gone on much longer had actormike just stuck with the original plan without throwing in his two cents. But for a few hours at least, we had Enterprise fans shitting all over themselves, and almost crashing the TrekBBS server (as per my email exchange with Lisa afterwards.) :?:

The denziens of Troll Kingdom also followed it up with a story of some Sweedish teen that committed suicide over the show's demise, which was also very funny, but we had nothing to do with that.

I think 6-8 people were banned that day, including Cassandra, for posting the  smilie. However, she was not involved at all, but figured out what was going on when it was only Wordforgers who were reporting they had 'seen' the Inside Edition segment. I think that was the day Bulldog and Ramennoodlesoup also got banned.

Surprisingly, Black Dove escaped unscathed, because he didn't actually SAY he saw the fake segment on TV, but he did plenty to egg the rumors on.

The kitty picture era seems to have started when we got about 6 members at the same time all around 18 years old.

Right, because nobody could have watched Inside Edition and said "hey, I watched Inside Edition and I didn't see that segment..."

There's a difference between talking about your real life relationship and your fake "internet relationship." I enjoy giving advice to friends about their romantic quandries, and I enjoy hearing what said friends have to say about mine.

But Eccentric spending 2,000 posts telling us he wants to eat Meka's cookies...I'm gonna have to pass on that, thanks.

It would have been a lot more difficult to track down which Inside Edition episode the segment aired on, than say, picking up that days or yesterday's variety paper, especially since the paper also had an ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION that anyone could've signed up for. What we were looking for was widespread panic, and keeping it going for as long as possible. Your little stunt cut it a bit short.

This goes to show why you are a failure as an actor and at life.

    :sob:

People would have figured it out soon enough anyway, and I only added fuel to the fire.

The fact that you remember every detail of this troll, while I can barely remember any of it, speaks to how pathetic and empty your life truly is. You're like the high school quarterback who used to be cool, but now is bald, fat and works at Best Buy.

HAHAHA!!! What advise do you give them? As one of Wordforge's biggest whining vagina's who's always complained about no women ever giving him the time of day, I find it rich that you are actually giving advise.

I don't imagine it's hard for them to keep telling you to wash your hands and moisturize after you've gone through a whole jar of Vasaline in a week.
