I don't anticipate any radical changes, with one exception that I know some of you are not going to like. But let me not get ahead of myself.

There won't be any staff changes. That is, unless someone now on staff decides that the Teal-Colored Reign of Terror is not for them and asks to step down. Personally, I think the team Elwood has put together works quite well. From Tamar on down, I've confidence in everyone. O2C and Kyle have provided excellent technical support and I know I can count on them to continue to do so.

No major rules changes. The way we've been operating will be the way we continue to operate. My preference, as those of you who've read the Shelter release threads know, is for a small set of rules and reliance on the good judgement of the staff. We've plenty of experience with boards that try to make rules for every contingency and how badly that usually works.

No, Volpone, there will not be any advertising on Wordforge. For damn sure not while I own it. So there.

The one big change: the White Room is going away. For reasons having to due with my employment - and that I won't elaborate upon - I can't own a site that hosts porn. But as I've already noted in the course of this change, if you can't find porn on the internet, you probably shouldn't have access to a computer anyway.

And now, let us celebrate this changing of the guard with the customary cermonial banning of Packard. Thanks, all.
