I guess you joined the board after Eccentric threw a hissy and left.

He wins the lifetime WF award for "woman in a man's body".

I wouldn't hold my breath. Most leftys I know said the same thing about GWB's 2004 election.

Well, provided we're able to find a candidate slightly more personable than Lurch, which I can't imagine being much of a problem, I'm not too worried.

I'm not saying it isn't going to happen, just that things are not always as clear as the person who saying such things thinks they are.

That's not what we're talking about. You bitched endlessly for weeks after the election. It was hilarious.

The spam threads weren't offending anyone, they just made you look childish. Liet-level childish.

    Yeah, about that....

That was in the works for at least a week before the election. And it wasn't Cass or myself that planned it. You'll probably never figure out who it really was. I almost didn't join in, but I felt bad for them since I knew they were going to get slaughtered.

If it was me, I wouldn't have rushed into it like that. I knew what the numbers were going in, so there would have been weeks of prep before I would have fired the first shot.

Your last permaban (not even your first one,) was your last one.

What part of permaban don't you get? I let you back last time, and you shit all over things.

    Never again. Fool me once...

I'm trolling him with his personal information and am waiting to see if he can figure it out. So, I figured I'd put it right in his face in his own thread.

This is true. And Obama's defeat is far from certain.

Nevertheless, it would be a much bigger blow than if GWB has lost the second time around. People have been trying to paint Obama's 53% win as a "landslide," and his incredible popularity with his supporters will cause some extremely amusing meltdowns in society if he does lose.

It appears that leftists are more prone towards breakdowns only because with righties it's hard to tell if they've had one or not.

    That was, well, odd.

Anyway, these "meltdowns" or shitstorms seem to happen every summer, not sure why, though to be fair I don't really give them that much attention. Like when PBM and Diacanu had a multi-page falling out or Liet vs. the Rep system, Elvital and his girlfriend, the unban Hood campaign, the coliseum debacle, the nude member forum, Polarslam and pedophilia, funeral trolling, Ted vs. his computer and many more ... and now another member spat clothed as a rule feud.

Don't get me wrong, I know plenty of folk enjoy these things and hey good on them but much like most of the world loves watching soccer I find the sport terribly uninteresting.

Though there is one big difference, soccer fans seem genuinely engaged in every aspect of the sport whereas these shitstorms seemed fueled by pseudo outrage and conviction.

Considering that I was allowed back after two previous permabans.

And considering that there was broad agreement by those who followed events back there that my banning was not justified.

And considering that serious discussion since I've been gone consists of your people at the movie forum arguing about what part Trek movie they prefer to begin wanking off too...

I would say that my expectation of being restored should be high.

I'll never understand why a person isn't at least allowed to present there case to the moderators/administrators before being banned.

Speaking of leftist meltdowns, did Fleshlight get chased off the board while I was gone? I would have thought he'd come out of whatever rock he's been under to play internet lawyer over this last bit of drama.

And why has it taken 56 fucking posts to bring up Reno Floyd?! The man turned cussing into an art form! :soma:

    Eh?
Sokar claimed I got deeply upset by his Baba/starguard type meltdown after the election. OK, I did post more than I remember around result time, but I wasn't upset by Sokar, except for the fact his completely losing it screwed up the board
