Muslim foreign exchange student writes Death to America at Niceville High You can't make this shit up. http://www.nwfdailynews.com/news/student-35497-exchange-speaks.html Of course, that's just what a terrorist would say.... :santa_angry: In the meanwhile, his father in Israel is suing the exchange program.... you know, because his kid was stupid. LOL. Note: edited for dyslexia
Re: Muslim foreign exchange student rights [sic.] "Death to America" at Niceville High The right to die is certainly controversial enough for many people to want to write about it.
A little overreaction I would say. I can only blame television: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TS4v_kj9rw4
I think that some people in America are seriously over sensitive. This reminds me of the time that a British teenage girl was denied entry at JFK for joking around with her buddies that there was a bomb in her luggage. Fact is that sarcasm and dark humour are part of the 21st Century teenager's bag of tricks. So what is America saying by this? That we must restrict what teenagers say? So much for freedom of speech. If Assvir comes onto this board and posts the same message nobody would take it seriously because the assumption would be that he is a asshat who is deliberately being at asshat. Yet this thread, at least in the OP anyhow, all but convicts the guy as a terrorist because he is a Muslim. I mean seriously, if he were a terrorist he would hardly go about identifying himself so obviously.
So you share in his stupidity, then. The difference between a muslim writing a message like that and, say, just a general idiot doing it for laughs? Muslims have an association with radical Islamists who say things like that and not only mean it, but have gone to great lengths to make it happen. This isn't just some dumbfuck chucklenuts yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theater -- this is a dumbfuck chucklenuts in a Pyromaniacs Anonymous t-shirt yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theater.
Well, they didn't waterboard him, they just sent him home. If I'm remembering my high school days correctly, that's generally what happens to exchange students who make asses of themselves.
I see it more as a reflection of the sad state of public education in the US. Our educators are now tasked with being parent, baby-sitter, self esteem fluffer, and politically correct guardian to the adolescent masses in over-crowded classrooms. Spending more time raising children than teaching them. Add our lawsuit happy culture into the mix and I don't see what else they could've done but dismiss the foreign exchange student. And guess what? The student's father plans to sue if his son is not allowed back in. Again, what's the alternative? Sure teenagers are dumb but what's airport security to do when somebody jokes about having a bomb in their luggage?
I believe in freedom for all...except terrorist organizations out to kill people. And these days, Islam is a terrorist organization.
Yeah, I blame it on the lawyers. Common sense has also been deported from this country. You can be expelled from school for bringing a toy gun or even fucking ASPIRIN - it's happened. The father's lawsuit is just silly - it's the State Department that is doing this, not the program. The exchange program can't allow him back in if they wanted to. We run everything via legislation and litigation. Quite frankly, I consider 'civilization' to be dehumanizing.
C'mon now, that isn't how it went--at least if we're talking about the same story. IIRC, she got up to the screener and he asked her the standard boring security questions and she said something to the effect that she had a bomb in her luggage. At that point he asked her to repeat herself and she said, again, that she had a bomb in her luggage. Then he asked for clarification and she again repeated that she had a bomb in her luggage. Now given the signs everywhere about what you can't bring on a plane and the fact that anyone with an IQ of more than, say, 37 knows airport security does NOT joke around about bombs or hijacking. Fuck, when I screwed up my knee and I was still rehabilitating it I was wearing a brace that apparently had metal reinforcements in it, because it set off the metal detector in Portland. So when I was going through security on the way home I mentioned that I was wearing a brace that would probably trip the detector. I didn't but, because I'd mentioned it, they had to give me the advanced screening on it anyhow.
As much as you foreign aliens don't get it, America is still licking it's wounds over 9/11 and that's not going to go away anytime soon. It's not just fear of Islam that has been hyperstimulated, but just about all groups challenging the status quo. For example, do you really think I as a white male could get away with drawing a cross on fire with ghost like figures standing around it on a chalkboard in a Chicago classroom? The same knee jerk reaction applies here. Better off safe than sorry.
Look guys, we have to take all Israeli Moslem terrorists seriously. We ignored 19 Moslems in this country, and they destroyed two big buildings, a complex of other small buildings (still pretty big) and killed 3,000 people. We ignored the Jap military buildup, and they... hmmm, brought a bunch of planes and killed a couple thousand Americans. So, in the last hundred years, we've learned that when Furriners talk about killing us, they mean it. It took two lessons, but we get it.
We hardly ignored them, they'd been taking over China for near a decade. We knew it was coming, they just drew first blood.
Re: Muslim foreign exchange student writes Death to America at Niceville High Another raghead attempts to blow up another van....shocking. Just shocking.
