    [?=Probably spoilers]
So, was I the only one who at the end, was hissing at the TV "kill him, kill him...he means to kill you, there's all the other bullshit he's done, you didn't hesitate to kill the assholes at the bar, just KILL him!"?

How about when Shane had the gun in his pants? Was I the only one saying "Now! Now! Do it now! Stop letting him jabber! Do it now!"?

And finally, when he did kill Shane, and he was bawling, and all that, was I the only one going "tch...fuckin' pussy...fuckin, fuckin, FUCKIN pussy!"?

    I can't have been the only one,...just can't...

[?=spoiler to not answer the question because it comes from the comicbook]:spit:

If they go by the comics you've not seen anything yet.

Dale will be glad he's dead.

Zombies have super strong bones like adamantium metal ;) Or they have bones like Jell-O. depending on the script at that particular moment.

So "Wolverine" had more then enough to rip Dale open but not enough to stop the bullet which took "Wolverine" out.

The problem is they are dragging out the farm storyline.

The whole farm thing should have been wrapped up by mid-season.

Oh! Been meaning to, but kept forgetting...

    Recommendation for TWD fans...

"Behind The Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon".

Its got the guy who plays Hershel in it, as well as Robert Englund, it's a spoof on genre horror, especially the slashers, and it's a fucking hoot.

Watching The Right Stuff tonight and I noticed that the actor who played Scott Crossfield is the same actor who plays Herschel (and who played the bank robber on oxygen in an episode of Justifed last season). I knew he'd played one of the killers in In Cold Blood, but I hadn't noticed him as Crossfield before.

Have these people never heard of walkie talkies or cb radios?????

Or even locking doors of vehicles when you go on a zombie rampage.

Hell, they never thought to set up A,B, and C options for rendezvous points should the farm get overrun? They never packed provisions into each vehicle for quick bug-out purposes? Obviously no Boy Scouts in that group....

I think they've been operating on the "normalcy bias". They're not prepared for a zombie apocalypse because they've never been through one before. Same reason people didn't GTFO of New Orleans before the hurricane hit.

Now they're settling in and I think things will really change.

Exactly, for all the reasons listed above and more.

Another one - you are heading overland and god knows where you'll find gas soooooo....

you take the antique Suburban that gets 8 miles to the gallon!!

and that in the face of a parking-lot-freeway full of other potential options.

Another stupid thing: Why were they tear-assing around that field, giving the shooters a terrible platform, instead of driving a little more slowly or even letting them fire from a halt? If the walkers started to get too close, then they could step on the gas to put some distance between. I know I would've been yelling, "Slow this motherfucker down!"

You have to admit that it was an exciting sequence. My son called it an entire episode in the first 20 minutes.

It's also a bit hard to believe they didn't have a set fall back location - and the location where they all were put in danger by the horde that started this in the first place was about as bad a choice as you can get - and didn't have provisions ready to get the hell out of dodge if they had to.

Shane would have made sure they had the later talk if nothing else.

And the way Rick handled killing Shane was weird. I think I would have found a way to tell my wife that didn't make her hate me. I like the way the comic book handled that sequence much better, with Carl protecting his father.

Of course, I would have slapped the shit out of her (verbally) for not keeping her eye on the kid in the first place - why is it when the shit hits the fan Laurie has no idea where Carl is - ever. She's a shitty mother.

My group of friends would survive a zombie apocalypse a hell of a lot better than these idiots! LOL.

At least we thinned the herd a little. It's nice to have hope, but a couple of episodes in we're all gonna look at the prison like we did the farm.

Been so busy that I havent had the opportunity to watch the last three episodes until today. My reaction? They killed Dale? Like Ten said, with out the moral center this group is gonna get interesting. Killing Shane? About fucking time. The only thing that could have made that better is that if zombie Otis had done him in before he transitioned.

The finale was great. The first 20 minutes were like it's own episode.

Interesting sequence with the zombie hordes. Shitty fire discipline, movement, lack of a plan, etc. Come on after two years these guys should have their shit together by now. The characters that did die in the last episode were throw away characters. Herschel's two kids? I forgot he had the other two. No other core survivor get eaten. Bout damned time they got over run. Have they never read the survival guide or world war Z? You never set up a permanent base unless you got some major supplies, fire power, and defenses. Honestly they need to meet up with a boy scout or ex grunt that knows what the hell he is doing. He doesn't have to take over Rick's role, just act as an adviser. Absent that I am seeing this group being damned easy picking.

Anyone else pick up on the change in Rick's demeanor after the attack and his work on Shane? It's almost like he is transitioning into the next Shane? Oh and gotta love the reaction by his wife. I don't think that it was the way Rick told her about Shane. I think it was evidence that she still had the hots for Shane. Finally, Rick needs to give her the Ike Turner treatment. She ain't doing much of anything. She sure as hell ain't even watching Carl.

Funny enough, my son the 1st class scout, and my wife both brought up the same points today when watching it.

Oh and it looks like Merle is coming back next season.

Mind you I have not read the comics at this point. I almost want to but I'm a cheap bastard.

Given that his wife is a psycho, selfish cunt, I'm not sure it would have made a difference. I guess she forgot about telling Rick that Shane thinks that she, Carl and the unborn baby are his. She practically begged Rick to kill Shane. Then she goes and tells Shane "Hey I'm really sorry. If Rick hadn't shown back up, we could have really had something". Then she lets her son wander around unsupervised despite the fact that the group has already lost one child. She's horrible. T-Dog should have pushed her out of the truck.

probably has nothing to do with the comic line, but I think it would be interesting to see this group come upon a guy who's like, say a retired marine captain or something who over the course of an episode or two evaluates the group and then when they decide to move on and want him to come he basically says "I wouldn't be within 10 miles of a group of morons like you" and starts listing off all the ways they are fucking up.

I have a newfound appreciation for Herschel, standing on his front lawn with a shotgun, mowing down zombies.
    :salute:

And that was terrible training for Carl. What is the one thing you DO NOT FUCKING DO when you're putting down zombies? Light the fuckers on fire, that's what.

I gotta agree. But I think the point behind lighting them on fire was two fold. Yeah a shitty way to destroy them, but also to keep the attracted to the barn and away from the house.
