Zimmerman is a child molester too?

Wow, this guy really is a scum bag. First he chased after the teen when the cops told him not too causing the whole incident, then he lies to the court about the money he got for being the conservative celebrity cause of the day, and now it turns out he molested a 6 year old girl.

I didn't read this article, but everything I have seen says this stopped when Zimmerman was 16. Vile indeed.

Let's do something novel and assume he's innocent; just in recognition of the fact that the justice system used to work that way.

Or we could go with the new meme -- male accused of victimizing female? Automatic guilty. Sure, we'll do that, just for the sake of argument. How is the accusation of a separate crime connected to the one he's being prosecuted for currently? What exactly is the relevance? Did Zimmerman pull the trigger with his penis while yelling his cousin's name?

Is it still child molestation if the molester was also a child? Shouldn't it just default to molestation?

I can't help but be skeptical because of not only the extremely young age it started but the timing of this girl coming forward.

I was wondering the same thing. Legally speaking, can a seven year old molest a six year old?

Gotta admit it does not seem relevant to the case at hand.

Her parents confirm that she told them about it seven years ago so long before current events.

And they did nothing about it then?

Even if she did tell her folks (when she was twenty years old) I'm not sure what legal action they could've taken.

I'm still not sure if a seven year old can (legally speaking) molest a six year old.

Sounds to me like they couldn't destroy him enough in the Martin case because his testimony actually holds up. So now they go with character assassination to turn the whole country against him to fully convict him in the court of public opinion....thereby tainting every jury pool in the country.

There's no way in hell this guy will ever get a fair trial.

Let's do the math now. 16 + 2 = 18 = an adult molesting a child.

In other words, George Zimmerman is accused of being a child molester.

Of course that shouldn't matter. It's not like he's accused of "playing doctor" (is that what they call it in your family Chaos?). He's accused of sexually assaulting a person annually for ten years.

As a current non-parent you don't know the deal with that. Parents, at times, have to talk to other parents about their kids behavior towards their child. Sometimes it is of a sexual nature.

The girl in question was scared and didn't tell her parents when she was young. Otherwise it would have stopped right quick. George was getting a free pass to continue for years.

Its a damn shame.
