Thank you Obama!!! Thank you for putting me within striking distance of paying MORE for health care. I say striking distance because as of yet I hold out a slim hope that we have a world wide nuclear war with Russia and China and everyone is wiped out!!
Clearly, you simply don't understand that paying the same or more means that you're paying less. Because Obama.
Such bullshit. Maybe the reason it looks like more to you is probably because you don't pay the full cost of your insurance now. Right now, the average cost for health insurance for a family if four is somewhere along the lines of $12,000 a year. If your insurance is paid through your employer, he likely pays a portion if that cost as a part of your benefits package. Those prices listed were nowhere near that. Even after my employer pays his part of my health insurance, my costs are still higher than what's posted. But don't let me stop you from your intellectual dishonesty.
Deductibles and co-pays when you enroll in the cheapest (bronze) Obamacare exchange: Deductible: Single: $3,250 Family: $6,500 Out of network single: $6,500 Out of network family: $13,000 Office visit co-pays: $30 (does not go towards the above deductible) What you have to pay medical care after deductibles are met: 40% The amount you have to pay for non-generic prescriptions: 40% Link
The links you posted do that. Your cherry-picking this one number for a family of four (N/A to all WFers) with an insured of unknown age and unknown income from an unspecified state is like a six-year-old explaining where babies come from. Try not to get stork shit on your head.
Yeah, it's sad when the cherry-picking's so obvious. "Are you a family of four? No? Don't worry - one size fits all! What? You want to know this guy's age and income and what state he lives in? Why would those matter? One Size Fits All! This way to the Egress!"
I don't know why you're so angry, garamet. Not only did I include the deductible, co-pays, and out-of-pockets costs for families, but I also did so for individuals. Your average premium is included in the original post. Please be happy.
While there may be republicans that work directly or indirectly on the WhiteHouse.gov website, I don't think that any republican has final say on its contents. Hey, wait a minute. You're not talking about me, are you?
Don't you recognize me? It's Ramen. Hi! So, did you have any other concerns about the data and/or links posted above?
If your premise is that not only the White House but all 50 states are lying to you, there are any number of resources that can help. You didn't even read the OP, didja?
Here are the penalty fees should you decide to not carry health insurance after October 1st: The tax will not go toward any health payments you'll have to make should you actually need medical care. Link
Silly wabbit, taxes don't cover your healthcare. Health insurance does. You understand how auto insurance works, don't you? And homeowner's insurance? Why is health insurance so mysterious to you?
Yep. My family will be paying 1/2 of what they're paying now for the exact same coverage that has been supplied by their employer.
