Maybe the reason it looks like more to you is probably because you don't pay the full cost of your insurance now.

Right now, the average cost for health insurance for a family if four is somewhere along the lines of $12,000 a year. If your insurance is paid through your employer, he likely pays a portion if that cost as a part of your benefits package.

Those prices listed were nowhere near that. Even after my employer pays his part of my health insurance, my costs are still higher than what's posted.

But don't let me stop you from your intellectual dishonesty.

Deductibles and co-pays when you enroll in the cheapest (bronze) Obamacare exchange:

Deductible:

• Single: $3,250
• Family: $6,500
• Out of network single: $6,500
• Out of network family: $13,000

Office visit co-pays: $30 (does not go towards the above deductible)

What you have to pay medical care after deductibles are met: 40%

The amount you have to pay for non-generic prescriptions: 40%

The links you posted do that. Your cherry-picking this one number for a family of four (N/A to all WFers) with an insured of unknown age and unknown income from an unspecified state is like a six-year-old explaining where babies come from.
