For what its worth i think the ban was justified (even if Castle doesn't have the ability to carry out the threats as some are saying).

Can't speak for Elwood or Lanz, just for myself: more than one troll tried what he 'threatened'. They all failed because that kind of trolling just doesn't work here. There are almost no rules to play against the board, but Castle type trolling requires them. The stricter the rules, the more power hungry the mods the more successful his kind will be. Castle's 'threat' wasn't credible because he's uncreative. Rule trolling is the only thing he knows.

It's certainly within the rules but him crapping all over every single thread here is so annoying a little vacation is IMHO completely justified. Might have done the same. There are many ways to interpret words and how you do it is completely dependent on the relation with the poster in question. Nobody likes Castle so go figure how Anc would interpret them

Yes, and even I never banned him and he made the very same threats and worse when I was in charge. When I refused to ban him so he could start this phase of the game, he locked his own account and still went off on how unfair it all was....except it doesn't work so well when the Admin doesn't actually ban you or do anything unfair to you. It all rang hollow and he apologized and came back behaving himself for at least a couple of days.

You should know he doesn't really mean it, because he would have done it long ago if he was capable of it. If he ever became capable of it, he wouldn't announce it beforehand...he would just get it done.

You have to draw the line somewhere, you cant just give castle a free pass because he's a moron. It's not his intellect that is his "power"...it's the sheer persistence and staying power he has when normal people would have stopped and went away.
