So, the new season of Daredevil has dropped. I've only had time to watch the first episode. It looks good, but there were a couple of points in the episode where I was asking myself, "Okay, so how does a guy without super speed powers get from one place to another so quickly?"

That's . . . probably not a good fit, given the backstory of the characters. Freeform will make it a kid-friendly happy thing, and that's not what those characters are.
