Seriously, stuff like this frightens me. WTF? Perhaps something like this is normal for Americans, but holy hell... What's going on there?? This is some seriously brainwashed, cult-like, disturbing madness. If I was there, I'd feel deeply horrified.
Our universities went totally insane two or three years ago. I'm not sure employers will hire graduates from 2014 to probably 2020. We'll call them the lost generation and put them out in a field where they can hurt anybody.
White man tryin keep the black man down mutha fucka ! Their own worst enemy and why they'll remain 'special needs' until they figure out simply working and keeping your mouth mostly shut and supporting your own spawn ain't selling out to whitey. I didn't click the vid so if this isn't about blacks being racist on America's campuses my bad.
It's scary. Not the text makes it scary, but how it is performed. Perhaps it reminds me of Nazi stuff or something... Or the movie "The Wave". Really, it sends shivers down my spine. Hard to explain...
All mindless cults based on bullshit claims and promising retribution are scary. On the upside, it looks like most of that was from Missouri, which saw freshman enrollment drop 25%, lost tens of millions in donations, had to close two dormitories, and has a ton of students trying to transfer out. All the sane people are running away from it and the alumni are cutting it off. It will become a ghetto.
An out-of-context clip put together by a virulently racist and sexist ass who was the gamergater-in-chief? Of course it doesn't make sense; it's purposely edited to not make sense, just like the Planned Parenthood "sting" videos. Color me bored.
It is, apparently, a chant devised by black lives matter protester "Assata Shakur" who declares white people to collectively be the devil and that white cops should all be killed. Yeah, fuck that horse shit. It really is something like a Nazi chant.
What is the context? Is this even a university mandated chant or is it just some protesters chanting? Just because people are chanting does not make it scary unless you are a cowardly individual.
Somehow, in the battle for civil rights, black people didn't get the memo that minorities can also be extremely racist. Africa frequently has genocidal wars based on racial or tribal affiliations.
I didn't bother researching what these people are fighting for, just stumbled across the clip. They could fight to save the whales for all I care. Perhaps they are even right. But this chant, the repetition... Perhaps it is a cultural thing, me being an European and all and not used to oaths and pathos, but something feels very wrong about it. VERY wrong.
Yes we know you are racist, you do not need to jump up and down letting us know anymore. Go over and sit with the boy and gturner with that bullshit. My grandmother grew up in Nazi Germany and she thinks you would shit out of your mouth if you ever got a glimpse of what Nazis actually do to the people they do not like. There is a huge difference between hyping up people to burn people in ovens and some people chanting that on an American university campus. David duke called and said he is mailing you your official invite to the trump Klan rally and he wanted to remind you that you need to bleach the poop stains out of your robe because only your Lord Ted Nugent is allowed to shit himself.
Calm down and come back to reality. Protests often involve some chant. That does not mean there is something sinister. Fuck, school cheerleaders do chants like this. Yes it also might be used by evildoers, but you need to get a Fucking grip before you start making innuendo that something wrong was going on. Way to fall into the racist fear mongering bullshit. There is a bathroom on the right so you can change your panties chicken little.
Solemnly repeating words someone dictates you with a megaphone makes you a coward and a drone. Ok, perhaps not a coward, but it is weird. I would never do it. Perhaps at a soccer match! It really reminds me of "The Wave", btw. This must be it! That movie scared me shitless as a kid. Ha, found it! http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0083316/
were they saying "we have nothing to lose but our chains?" They are in college, so obviously nobody has them bound or otherwise restricted from getting an education. "We will fight we will win" etc. so who specifically are they fighting against? Some background please! And were they getting paid by the word, because they repeated they repeated many of the phrases over and over and over.
What the fuck is wrong with you? seriously, did you grow up in a cave or something. The only weird thing about your little video is that it does not have any context or explanation. It makes sense when it becomes a black lives matter chant and you should be aware they are really targetting, harassing, assaulting, and killing black people at a overwhelming rate under the guise of law enforcement. Figure out what the fuck you are talking about, and stop being a racist tool.
Don't get testy with me because you were trembling in fear over some protest chant practice. I am not the one running around trying to claim the black Nazis are here because a couple of college kids chanted a slogan. I know I am a powerful master troll, but I have to admit most of the work is done by my subjects so thanks a bunch for doing such a great chicken little dance.
It seems to be a student group and not anything manditory. Hopefully, most of them quickly realize how stupid and lame the whole experience is and eventually grow up.
"Black Nazis"? I'll play and repeat it again for the "master troll": This stuff reminds me of a cult, and the collectivism shown is weird and certainly not "normal" around here. These people would get laughed at around here for behaving like brainwashed cult members. Perhaps it is really a cultural thing. But thanks for playing, "master troll".
Really, you are going to double down on your idiocy? Sure, go for it. Yes, cults do use chanting like this. So do protests, sports events, clubs, rallies, schools, concerts, and a whole lot of other events. It is creepy the way you breathe and eat just like the Nazis did. How can we be sure you are not up to Nazi things seeing as you breathe and eat like they do. Just admit you fucked up and fell victim to some video editing and now realize you made a mistake and what those people were doing only seemed sinister because you were set up by someone. If you cannot admit to that then you belong in the racist corner with dinner.
I still think it's fucking creepy. Stuff like this may seem normal to you, but it's completely fucked up from my pov. Not "sinister", but fucked up. Cringeworthy and scary. But I think that the Pledge of Allegiance is weird, too. Groupthink, indoctrination... If I'd join a group and had to hold hands and repeat what a "leader" dictates me, I'd leave. Fucking American weirdos and their bizarre pathos. Again, must be a cultural thing. Put me in a group with whomever you want, "master troll".
Jan is from Sweden IIRC, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he's not being a tools he'd unlike gtardo.
The problem is, you're taking a selectively edited video featuring a very particular segment of Americans as evidence of a broad trend in American culture. As if it were normal activity in which we all particpate every day. Most Americans would probably be as uncomfortable in such a gathering as you would be, especially considering the racial dynamics involved.
I just found it especially scary that something like this happens at universities. Again, it's not what they are protesting, it's how it is done. And it doesn't matter that they are a group which fights for minority rights. Just because they seem to fight the good fight, their behaviour is scary, because it reminds me of some people who did it in the same way. Oaths and pathos... "Duty, fighting and winning!" doesn't make it better, to say the least... Calling their behaviour weird and scary doesn't make me a racist, at least in sane countries. What is this, American political correctness? I don't give a fuck. Racial dynamics may be important in America, but I am colorblind! Good to hear that I am not the only one feeling uncomfortable when seeing pictures like this. @Anna: Switzerland. Edit: It speaks volumes about the racial tensions in the US that many people suddenly assumed that this thread is about race. Interesting...
Well fuck... This whole SJW thing is a logical overreaction to decades of systemic racism and other discrimination IMO. The pendulum swings to the other side at the moment, a lot of stupid shit is done. That's normal. People will grow out of it with time. The fanatical SJW provide a lot of entertainment, and so do their opponents. Universities have always been the place for ideological battles of extremists. However, group think should not have a place in an intellectual environment. This is what is really scary, not "funny" ideas of idealistic young people.
