Don't blame me, I have three kids. But yeah, unfortunately, too many who favor things like an educated and healthy populace aren't doing their reproductive duty.
Exactly.....if the polling wasn't tampered with then all the propaganda/misinformation/etc. put out is indeed SOP. If Hillary had won the election conservatives would be bitching that the biased media (statistically proven but a moot point) influenced the election. And the liberals would respond with "nobody forced them to believe everything they heard - it was up to them to decide who to vote for" and they would be right! And Steve 2^4 when I said "at the last minute" I didn't mean Russians didn't try to interfere only at the last minute - I realize it was over a long time span. I meant that the Trump voters didn't just decide at the last minute to vote for Trump. There was no tipping point - their minds were made up form the git-go but they kept their mouths shut because of all the liberal hate & backlash they would have had to put up with. They know how liberals are.....just look at how they act in defeat ....they are proving the case that the Trump voters had a good reason to wait until election day to drop the hammer on their pompous arrogant delusional heads.
I favor an educated and healthy populace - I have stated on this board that if we can send a man to the moon (preferably Obama eight years ago and leave him there but I digress) then we can provide free health care and college or vocational training. That said I know the democrats will fail in this effort even if they had bi-partisan cooperation, so why vote them in and put up with the bullshit that comes along with any liberal government?
It's interesting how quickly things turn. Just a few weeks ago the right were gloating that Trump won because Democrats didn't listen to the anger of the people, but now want the majority that voted against their candidate to shut up.
I want them to keep bitching myself. Eight years worth would be the icing on the cake! It might set a record for the longest continuous yet least effective temper tantrum. Democrats didn't listen to the anger of the people but it's funny watching them jump through hoops rather than admit their own weaknesses. Maybe they will be so involved with this pointless endeavor that they won't do shit to prepare and lose in 2020 - won't that be a hoot? I hope they never fucking recover from this - it will be decades of comedy gold! I think I'll dream up hair brained conspiracies to keep them chasing red herrings 24/7 for years to come.
I think that Lewis' claim is that the technical legitimacy of the process was undermined given the overwhelming deliberate introduction of false data into the decision making process which is not only a legitimate complaint but we've VERY likely only scratched the surface of. If you make a decision based on deliberately misleading and false information, it can be argued it was not a legitimate decision - even if millions of others made the same mistake. As for picking a fight with Lewis, the man was getting his skull cracked trying to make the world a better place while Donald was still learning how to keep black folks out of his daddy's properties. Donald doesn't have the high moral ground with Lewis if they are deciding what to have for lunch.
odd sense of priorities to not even fucking care whether or not the man is a disaster of a president so long as there's laughs to be had over the folks that are trying to point out the world is burning.
the Democrats, among some legitimate strategic errors, failed to listen to the anger of folks who it turns out clearly did not know what the fuck they were talking about. They made the mistake of assuming voters were better informed than they turned out to be. Now, it is true that Obama made some poor choices in the recovery phase after the crisis, at least arguably poor because it identified the Dems (again) as just as cozy with Wall Street as the GOP had been all along and those choices DID hang a lot of middle class folks out to dry in order to save the banks (big piece in the WaPo about this) so no one should think the Dems had great policy across the board, every president so far has made good and bad choices. BUT when the same demographic is packed with people who love the ACA, or their own state's rebranded version of it, but HATE "ObamaCare" because their political leadership successfully convinced them it was hurting someone somewhere..yeah, it wasn't insane for the Democrats to home most voters were smarter than that (well, most were, except in a few key locations)
how do you know that, for example, the ACA would have failed if the GOP had actually participated instead of resolving before inauguration day 8 years ago that their ONLY priority was that Obama fail at everything? That is no more good government than anything you fear liberals will do.
has been said, and it's true - if Jesus Christ stepped out on a cloud and said " All you nimrods got it wrong. Trump is the biggest buffoon on the planet and no one should have voted for him, least of all MY people" Then Trump would tweet within the hour "Stupid Jesus constantly complaining, I've don a hundred times more for this planet than he has" and the whole conservative crowd would say "I think Donald has a point and liberals know it"
I have to say complaining about trump winning the election is now avoiding the problem. It is just a symptom of the ec and gerrymandering. Get with changing the ec so our dumbfuck states do not have larger influence in the presidential election and congress. Still, there is a difference between complaining about the election and complaining about trump's continued bad decisions and the fact he is already making trouble for the US and has served a day as president. His cabinet picks are atrocious. He is making new conflicts of interest while maintaining his old ones. He is selling access to him and his family to the highest bidder for personal profit. He has already offended a number of foreign leaders with his ignorance and mistakes. He seems to be working with the Russians, and that gets worse every day. These are all separate and legitimate complaints that are accepting his election and do not involve how he was elected. In other words if you want people to stop complaining about trump he is going to have to calm the fuck down on doing stupid and illegal shit.
The first thing was soliciting election funds from foreign leaders. It is against the law even if it is not prosecuted yet.
https://www.bloomberg.com/politics/...oliciting-foreign-donations-complaint-alleges First one out of many that come from every msm source, and other sources including foreign news sources that come up when you search for trump soliciting election funds from foreign sources. Now please do pretend none of that exists like you normally do when confronted with overwhelming evidence you are a liar. I am going to call this a victory for me because you are fact resistant.
You're a smart man generally Tererun. Surely you would agree that allegations are NOT ACTUAL EVIDENCE.
They have the actual emails and the fec warned him. But those are facts so we know you are unable to see them. Thanks for proving that yet again.
Even if that occurred during the campaign, what does that have to do with events after he becomes president?
Before we go on to the next topic does that mean you concede the point that there is clear evidence trump broke the law despite lack of prosecution?
http://www.gregpalast.com/election-stolen-heres/ Don't know if this has been posted before. Palast wrote The best democracy money can buy, an exhaustive (and exhausting) analysis of Florida 2000 and all the tricks used to bring about the ultimate "victory" of the governor's brother. [Before the supreme court -- partly named by their father -- decided things in Boy George's favour. Pure Banana Republic stuff.] No, you have no guarantee that these tricks will work. You need a close election and a modicum of luck. But when I think of the razor-thin margins in Rustbeltavia, it seems to me that a little bit of fiddling there (nothing to do with Russians) would have been quite enough.
WTF? It's comedy gold because Nova is weeping and foaming at the mouth and all hot & bothered, in a prequel to what will no doubt be an eventual meltdown once Trump actually gets into office. I'm going to need more popcorn!
Not to mention you need to sober up and come back down to reality. Perhaps this is old age dementia. Whatever it is you are not in the real world.
I'm not in the real world because because I enjoy liberal complaining, explaining, and general agitation over Trump. It's a conservative thing - you wouldn't understand.
