What will happen when Trump adds another conservative judge to SCOTUS?

I think abortion is one of those issues that will slowly die out given that opposition to it is mostly driven by religion. The dying of Christianity in western nations is beginning to happen in the US and so I think in several generation, possible sooner, it will no longer be a political issue and abortion will generally accepted by the majority.

But not by God.

And yet, popular attitudes on abortion remain flat, if not gradually shifting toward pro-Life.

The mindset has to change, but the link between pro-life and religion is obvious and as religion slowly reduces over the decades the case for pro-life will erode.

Between "little will change" and "chip away." I don't think the SCOTUS will outright overturn Roe v Wade, but they'll allow common sense () regulation of it.

Your attempt at being cute aside, there are already laws against abortion beyond 13 weeks, when over 90 percent of women get it done anyway. The others are all under medical advisement.

This talk of judging confused me momentarily, so I looked into it. So you humans think when you die I review your lives and then pass judgement? On each and every one of you? Why would I do that? See, I don't get this.

I assume you don't think abortion is murder, because most people feel strongly enough about murder that they wouldn't say "well, I guess it should stay legal until someone presents a good reason," or consider it not a very big priority.

But in that case ... what remaining reason is there to be against it?
