It's actually a somewhat refreshing sea change from where we were for the Ferguson thing. Back thing, I saw a lot more judgemental posts about the looting and violence and outrage about that. I haven't seen much on the the loot shaming. That, and I've made a lot of FB friend cuts since 2014 the smart ones STFU and keep to their own feeds. The dumb ones like my old chaplain get blocked.
Any thug who can be identified from video participating in looting should be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I pray Trump makes good on his threat to send in the National Guard. Thugs vs. tanks. How fast can they run while carrying those 75" flat screens?
No, my mistake is in wasting time addressing you and your ilk. It's a mistake I've made consistently over the years, engaging the peanut gallery.
I don't see you throwing molotov cocktails in the streets of St. Paul. What's your contribution to the revolution? Glory hole services for protest sympathizers in Seattle? BTW, I didn't see evidence of "murder" in the video footage. I saw a police officer following procedure in subduing a suspect. But then, I'm not out to score "woke" points in the Progressive Olympics by screaming "murder" and "burn baby burn" on an insignificant website 15 years past it's prime.
Looting and pillaging a Target, now burning a Walmart to the ground. Did Walmart kill the black guy? How many times have we seen this movie? Something happens, hotheads get mad, mob gets whipped up and goes rampaging through the streets destroying their community. The governor needs to immediately send in the National Guard, roll in the tanks, and start imposing order. I wonder if the local police force was one of the outfits that caved in to SJW and got rid of their "militarized" equipment and personnel? If so, I bet they're regretting that decision right about now. Armored Humvees and troop carriers would be useful in this situation.
Yeah, that's too much baggage. Choosing her, now, would turn the blacks away from him, and his whole campaign would be done.
All very reasonable questions. But questions that are not asked, or not asked in a context that allows them to really be dealt with rationally, in an election. Whether or not she was correct, she will be (figuratively speaking) tarred and feathered for it. Which is why Biden can't afford to have her as VP.
It's not him. Amazing factoid: White people can look like each other especially when one is wearing a mask.
trying to tip over a porta-potty? Some junkie might have been trying to shoot up in there! Think of your fellow man you hooligan!
I think it's important (in the long run) to not get too distracted by the the murder itself and/or the rioting & looting while ignoring the much larger problem: why was this cop even the street to begin with? If you don't change the system (whether at the local level or nation-wide) this whole shebang will happen over & over & over. You can't end systemic racism as a concept overnight, I get that. But you can (and must) fix the policing system. When cops have 18 separate complaints that should be a red flag. If I were a cop I wouldn't trust that cop to have my six. But you can't choose your co-workers. But you know who can choose your co-workers? THE LEADERSHIP! THE MANAGEMENT! Nobody is holding the police force's feet to the fire. You can't tell me that for every shit bag cop - or shit bag HMIC cop - or mayor - there isn't a very qualified capable person willing to take their place. Or is the problem that qualified, capable people don't want to become cops or politicians? Pony up some money! I got paid (considering benefits) a lot of money in the military and still reap the financial benefits. I believe that cops should earn as much as military members. Their job is just that important! That said their standards of fitness and behavior on & off the job should be similar. Just my 2 cents.
