Most of my facebook friends with whom I want to school in a small town in southern Michigan are trump supporters. Two guys that I had crushes on in Jr High had it bad. Glad my family moved me out of there, then. Wasn't happy at the time, but now I am.

Also, at least two men with whom I went to school that I didn't interact with much (it was a very small town, less than 500 students in the entire high school) are very liberal. Two more libertarians - which, up until trump I would have called conservative lite. It's funny how when you don't see someone for 20 years and are surprised at how some are so like you and some are so different.

I blame the MBA program at Northwestern. ..

Unfortunately, the guy is a ghost online and given certain events that took place in junior year, may or may not have pre-emptively blocked me on any social media he may have.

Yeah, if you rolled up on DC today and saw all those National Guard guys waiting for you, you'd sit down and be quiet too.

On the Great Awakening forum, named after the day when the mass arrests were supposed to happen, some of the top posts had titles like “Anyone else feeling beyond let down right now?” and “If Q Was a Fake, Why Didn’t Trump Denounce It?” One poster compared Q, the supposed “deep state” mole who began sending cryptic messages in 2017, to a LARPer—that is, someone who plays live-action role-playing games. Another commenter wrote, “Good luck patriot, I am done with this rollercoaster, I hope something still happens, but can’t continue to follow it.” The more optimistic users pressed people to keep faith. One of the forum’s moderators said that negative posts would be banned and wrote, “this IS NOT over HAVE patience.” Some users pointed to documents that Trump had declassified on Tuesday, conjecturing that they would reveal plans to steal the election. (They actually have to do with the Russia probe, though it’s unclear when they’ll be released.) Others hoped that famous QAnon proponents like pro-Trump lawyer L. Lin Wood Jr. and former national security adviser Michael Flynn would sweep in to save the day, or that Trump himself had made arrangements to secretly stay in power. Still others offered vague assurances that Trump is bound to return and God will prevail in the end over the satanists. Similar themes emerged in QAnon discussions on Telegram and other social media sites.

Likewise, I found a girl I dated on FB to say hi and see what was up. Coast Guard vet, mother... and rabid anti-vaxxer. Likewise had to unfollow her to escape the constant propaganda.

Last time I checked there’s nothing wrong with attending a Presidential rally. How many LEOs attended Biden’s rallies?

I don’t know. How many of Biden’s rallies ended with people storming the Capitol building in an attempt to overthrow the government?

There might be something wrong with it when the rally incites people to insurrection, particularly if the people are law enforcement officers who did not act to prevent the insurrection or worse actively participated in it.

Not to mention that the premise of the rally was that an election that was widely called “free and fair” by folks on all sides was “rigged.”

Federal Farmer is like that annoying kid who interjects in the middle of an adult conversation.

Federal Farmer: "Hey! Hey! Hey!"

Adults"...by late summer, we could return to some sense of normalcy..."

Federal Farmer: "Hey! Hey! I have something important to say!"

You're the type of person that if given the slightest bit of power would turn into a tin pot dictator.

Do you know that those LEOs that attended the rally also stormed the capitol or should everyone who attended the rally be rounded up and arrested?

We know that a number of them did. Everyone who was at the rally and then headed towards the Capitol should, at the very least, be questioned. Not because they’re an automatic suspect but because they might be able to provide information about those who did storm the Capitol.

How many rallies did Biden have where the explicitly stated purpose was to overturn the results of a democratic election?

How do you hear "it's disturbing how many LEOs supported overturning the results of a democratic election" and interpret it as "everyone who went to the rally should be arrested"?

There is a lot of space between "it's troubling that somebody did this" and "everyone who did this should be arrested."

Where do you get this fervent desire for victimhood from, anyway?

I don’t. Couldn’t possibly. But the authorities do. They will get what’s coming to them. Every last one of them. If they took a cellular device into the Capitol, there is a record of when, where and who they were.

For all their conspiracy theories they forgot the real one where you can be tracked by your phone GPS. Which is not so much of a conspiracy as they actively do it.

There were surely those who attended but did not enter, but when the news reports "x number of LEO were part of the siege" it's a reference to those charged by the FBI, so that number, at least, represents those who did enter.
