That scene in Enter the Dragon always annoyed me.

"I said 'emotional content,' not anger."

Anger is an emotion, Bruce. :brood:

There will be probably be less vampire deaths, less confusion about sunrise and sunset without the time changes.

Anger is a secondary emotion. It is in response to primary emotions such as fear, sadness, jealousy, etc.

Bruce was correct in saying to go deeper and not just settle for the quick, easy and ultimately worthless answer.

Anger is definitely not a secondary emotion for Uncle Albert. ;)

No. Anger is perfectly valuable by itself. It does not need to be validated by dragging it through a meandering path of sentiments you deem "authentic" or somesuch nonsense.

It is also not something to be berated or "corrected." Addressed, channeled, yes. But not scolded and shamed for existing.

says the guy who is fuelled by his own outrage and umbrage at things that either don't have an effect on him or worse, might actually benefit others (as well).

You're like that angry kid in kindergarten, hiding toys so others can't use'em.

I had a younger sibling who would steal my toys.

I put a padlock on my bedroom door.

Or allow people to work from home.

Saw an interesting chart yesterday - CEO's are complaining about worker productivity dropping.

However, worker productivity is right on the trend line for the last two decades.

It bumped significantly in 2020 and 2021.

    We all know why.

But now they are saying work from home is decreasing productivity, when in fact it shows it increased it.

Lies, damn lies, and CEOs. Clergy and businessmen are rewarded for bullshitting. No wonder they align with the party of bullshit.

Fuck Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats for not passing the DST bill.

The Senate passed it unanimously back in March and it's been languishing in the House ever since.

Per the guy who oversees it, they didn't have the votes to pass it. The breakdown was because of different regions wanting different solutions. It was a regional, not partisan, issue.

The amount of shit that Pelosi, Schumer and Biden got done considering the filibuster is still in place and there isn't room for a single defection in the senate was amazing, one of the great legislative feats of our time.

    But sure, the clocks.
