    1. Anyone can sue anyone else over virtually anything.
    2. The fact that someone has sued someone does not mean that their allegations are true.
    3. Any allegations in this particular lawsuit would almost certainly pertain to things that Biden has done since taking office.
    4. In the link below from the Missouri AG about the lawsuit, there is no claim that the FBI or anyone suppressed the story about Hunter Biden's laptop by trying to get Twitter to block it. Rather, there is the allegation that the FBI did not comment about the case or admit that it was truly Hunter's laptop. Which, putting aside that their reasons probably stem from them not commenting about ongoing investigations (or about much in general) and putting aside that the FBI is under no affirmative duty to put statements on the record about this anyway, is very different from what I'm asking about.

    https://ago.mo.gov/missouri-attorne...dministration-from-violating-first-amendment/
    5. The question I am raising is: what evidence is there that the government tried to strongarm Twitter to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story run by the Post, rather than Twitter deciding on its own to suppress it for the 24-hours that it did that.
    6. So to be clear:
    a) Any suppression of that story was done in October 2020, while Biden was a candidate rather than a government official, and so even assuming that there was evidence he\/his campaign tried to get the story suppressed, wouldn't count as government interference
    b) Even assuming that the lawsuit you referenced is true and more, and the Biden administration has been bullying Twitter incessantly since taking office, that is not evidence that his administration, his campaign, the Trump FBI or anyone else bullied Twitter specifically about Hunter Biden.
    c) If there was evidence supporting the notion that the FBI or any other government agency pressured Twitter to in this specific incident to reach its decision, I say again, it shouldn't be that difficult to find, given that there was a Congressional hearing on the general subject and the owner of Twitter opened up Twitter executives' e-mails for scrutiny to journalists who were heavily incentivized to support that thesis. So where is the actual proof?

Put that dude in jail 1 day for every idiot who has pushed the Burisma lie. The man should be in jail for the rest of his life based on @Steal Your Face alone. He fed this lie and needs to be punished since we all have to deal with the repeated claims.

Oh, and then throw the boy in the cell with him so he has something to fuck for the rest of his life.

The Deep State strikes again. Instead of indicting members of the Biden Crime Family over evidence that they have had access to for years now, this special prosecutor indicts one of the people providing iron-clad proof of the Biden family's shady dealings that greatly differ from standard nepo-crony capitalism greatly because we say so. /s.

I wish there were someone could try to explain to me how we're supposed to believe simultaneously that Joe Biden is in such deep cognitive decline that he can't handle the rigors of the presidency and yet has been the mastermind over an unspecified number of criminal conspiracies for years that have left no meaningful fingerprints for Republican lawmakers or professional investigators to uncover or charge (despite law enforcement being full of conservatives) and yet Donald Trump is a victim of a witch hunt in the four criminal investigations against him for things that it is pretty clear that he has done both through documentary proof and his own admission, he just wants us to believe that they aren't criminal. Oh and just look the other way when he makes claims that a president should have complete and total immunity for anything he has done while in office.

Comer is now saying there likely won’t be an impeachment vote for Biden but instead retribution will have to wait until Trump is back in office.

I wish I remember who said it and I’ll probably butcher it:

How much of this is just resentment that after years of searching all Rs have been able to prove is Hunter is a big dick king having more fun in a weekend than most have in a lifetime and who’s Dad calls him multiple times a week.

And they’re all a bunch of needle dick losers who wouldn’t know a good time if it hit them in the face and whose family wants nothing to do with them.

With the obvious caveat that this comes from the charging documents of a man being accused of lying to the FBI:

    OK.. So quick recap here...

Congressional Republicans, either knowingly or unwittingly used false information planted by Russian spies to initiate an impeachment inquiry on the sitting President of the United States?

I mean... can it be more succinctly stated than that? will anyone... ANYONE in the national media present it to the American people that plainly? What the actual FUCK!! :ualbert:

I am not sure which would be worse:

Congressional Republicans were duped into using false information planted by Russian spies to initiate an impeachment inquiry OR

Congressional Republicans knowingly used false information planted by Russian spies to initiate an impeachment inquiry.

Congressional Republicans recklessly used false information planted by Russian spies to initiate an impeachment inquiry.

At the moment I think the latter is more likely to be true, but that might be giving them too much credit.

So it could be that he's a pathological liar and not only lied about the information but the supposed source of it, for whatever reason.

But the notion of "I was being manipulated by Russian spies" is such a declaration against interest. A normal person would not claim something like that if it were not true because it opens the person up to at a minimum ridicule and very possibly criminal charges.

This basic notion is part of a concept in the law called a declaration against interest. The idea is that it is easy to tell lies to make yourself look smarter, more important. etc. But very few people tell lies to make themselves look worse. Normally, hearsay, or out-of-court statements made by someone who isn't a party and who can't be cross-examined, do not come into evidence. But if someone says something harmful about themselves, it's considered likely a reliable statement and can thus come in.

Of course, if it's true that he was manipulated by Russian agents into asserting a Hunter Biden/Joe Biden bribe that is not existent, or if he is lying about being manipulated by Russian agents, either way he is useless as a witness against Joe and Hunter Biden. And since he's about the best publicly known evidence that the Republicans have been able to muster after, what, four years of investigating the "Biden Crime family," it speaks to how meritless this investigation has been.

It’s amazing how your standards change when you don’t like what it is you’re hearing. You take the flimsiest Hunter Biden rumour and treat it as fact but when a guy actually confesses to something that makes republicans look like idiots you refuse to believe it

At least you’re consistent in your inconsistency I guess
