I was 8 when TNG first aired and I couldn't stand Wesley even as a kid.

I was an adult by the time TNG aired. But, I never had a problem with Wesley.

Never understood people who did, really. I mean .., it’s not as if Wesley Crusher was a “know it all”. He was a character and those lines were written by a staff of writers.

    People are fucking nuts.

I don't think he's brilliant, but I do think he covers and talks about a lot news stories that the MSM will not.

As opposed to you? Who cannot seem to understand the concept of a reliable report? Are accusing others of not being honest.

I’ll give you, Diacanu argues in the same way you do - making up shit on the spur of the moment - his being directed at other posters, yours is directed at facts. Either way, you are as dishonest as you accuse others.

Every post you’ve ever made here.

Unless, you can be honest for once.

    Say it.

    You lean Right.

    You are not Center.

You do not ever even try to understand anything anyone on the left says.

    Say it.

you use the term "MSM" to describe everything that doesn't fit your worldview/to create an impression of crediblity to otherwise unfounded or subjective information sources that do fit it.

this is known as poisoning the well, an informal logical fallacy.

you also continually sea lion these sources even after they've been long discredited as unfounded and/or subjective. Case in point, ths Jimmy DOre character. He's obviously got a reactionary right wing slant, yet you claim he's a moderate and objective.

    The "lie" is intellectual dishonesty.

and yes, we have been over this many times before.

Anyway, the clunky dialogue. Book: "If I didn't hate these guys, I might like these guys." Come on.

I actually liked that line. It's not unique, there has always been some variation of it (if we weren't enemies, we'd be great friends), and I think it works here. Plus, I like Book, and I think he's criminally underused in the series.

I liked the line, too. I just wish it was delivered by a better actor than Store-brand Idris Elba. :jayzus:
