I'm not going to bother with Bedlam flaming, I mean hell Peterson's coming back, his mere presence on the field will make Gundy wet his drawers...
Only when Peterson is around. If he had been on the kickoff return team, OU wouldn't have robbed by those evil Pac 10 referees and Nike.
Peterson has preemptively signed two endorsement deals, the first one was with Adidas, thus pissing of Nike, and by proxy, the Oregon refs. The other endorsement deal was with Lexus, and we know how that turned out.
You know what OSU should do? Go get Bomar from his exile in nowhere Texas. If Stillwater can forgive Eddie Sutton for almost killing that woman while driving drunk, then they can forgive Bomar for fudging a few hours on his time card.
I know, I never got the Bomar outrage either, considering that your going on probation anyways, you might as well keep him and win a few more games.
Wasn't part of him getting to play at all that he can't play in Division 1A anymore, he has to stay on a AA team.
I'd like to see USC in the title game, obviously, but I just don't think they have the smack to knock off OSU this year.
And Texas goes down to Texas A&M, 12-7!!!!! That puts Oklahoma into the championship game if they can beat Oklahoma State. Ohio State's victory against a #2 Texas isn't looking quite as impressive anymore, now that Kansas State and Texas A&M also have knocked them off.
Wow, that LSU-Arkansas contest is one hell of a game! LSU pulls ahead by 2 scores, McFadden breaks an 80 yard TD run on the very next play from scrimmage to get back within 5, then LSU returns the kickoff 92 yards to get it back to 12. THEN Arkansas returns their kickoff 64 yards, and are in danger of getting it back to 1 score again - with six mins left in the 4th.
I'm going to watch the game in high-def, assuming the Cox channel advertising it isn't a premium-pay service Instead of picking a final score, I'm going to estimate that the Cowpokes have a 55% chance of upsetting the Sooners. They gained an extra 10% from the knowledge that if they beat OU, they deny the Sooners a spot in the Big 12 championship game.
That's my percentage as well, 55%. And I give a 40% chance that Peterson plays after all, won't surprise me a bit.
Well, for the second year in a row, I'm screwed on SC-ND gameday. I'll be on an airliner between IND and DEN for just about the whole game, heading home to BOI. My only hope is if they send me on Frontier and I can get the satellite TV on board for the low price of 5 scones. Which would be worth it. Cest Le Vie, as Kirk would say, eh?
Can someone please tell me why the second string quarterback was in at the last? Was Reid's shoulder hurting that much?
Yeah whats up with that? And why not throw for the sideline at all during that last drive with so little time left...
I don't understand either MR, Reid has been an effective passer, and his ability to run might've opened something up. I listened on the radio, and they had no clue why Reid was on the sidelines the whole last possession.
