Go Army. Today I decided to try some sports gambling... only $5(I'm not much of a gambler) on each of the following: Army to keep it within 20. Rutgers to win straight up... 3 to 1 payout and Rutgers may pull it off so I figured what the hell... I'm thinking of making one more $5 bet on the OU/Nebraska game. The over/under is 45... I can't decide if they'll score that much or not though. USC/UCLA has an over/under of 48, I think that might happen as well. I'll update this if I decide to bet anymore.
GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKING BRUINS!!!!! I H.A.T.E. FUCKING UCLA!!!!!!!! FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man, I could bitchslap the entire USC offense right now!!
OOOOHHHHH, God, that was awful. My Trojans completely choked. I can say I never expected them to be in title contention this year, which is true. I can say they had a great run, which is true. I can say they still are going to the Rose Bowl, there to face LSU or Michigan most likely, if the Wolverines don't get a rematch. But damn, did I have my hopes up - UCLA is by no means a bad team, but USC had just played three teams just as good or better and whooped them all. As bad as the offense played today in general, the defense kept them in it - they only gave up 13 points. But I have to wonder if Booty is the answer. Maybe next year they should go with Sanchez. He's not a bad QB, but both games they lost this year had the same formula - in the clutch Booty drives them down the field, then being a short QB he gets a ball batted down at the line of scrimmage. Against Oregon State it was for the tying 2 point conversion, against UCLA it was tipped for an interception when they were on the 20 with a minute left and 3 TDs. Damn, damn, damn. Congratulations to Oklahoma, Wake Forest and Florida for coming up big today. Everybody won that should have won - except my team.
Well where's everyone goin, it's not official but it looks as though Oklahoma State will be playing Bama in the Independence Bowl in lovely Shreveport, LA.
My Aggies will play Cal in the Holliday bowl. Cal-f'n-Berkely. Henceforth, we shall call this game the Culture Shock Bowl.
Rumor has it Tech is going to the insight bowl. I am hoping for it so I can go out there to Phoenix with my friend that went to Minnesota and watch it. I'll put that free southwest round trip to good use.
Looks that way, teams in bold have accepted. http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/bowls/predictions Nebraska vs Auburn...
I am still in favor of a playoff even though my Gators were able to backslide into the championship game!
And don't fool yourself into thinking they did anything BUT that. As much as I hate OSU, I predict a fucking rout.
