Ok Pokes, tonight is the night. I'll be there yellin' for the Ags to whip your Okie Lite cowpokes. I must warn you though, if the Ags should lose I will have no choice but to kill you both.

We're coming for you, Ash. :D Tech just upset Kansas. It's a day for higher ranked teams to go down.

:wtf: Christ, Cowboys. You're taking up space and sucking air. You'd better get your shit together, boys, or you're going to end up embarrassed again.

38-28 A&M at the half. The Cowboys can't seem to get inside to Boggan at all. They've looked slow and sluggish all night while A&M looks really quick. Not getting many offensive boards at all. Tired legs plus A&M is just looking better. When the Pokes can get inside, their shots just aren't falling. They picked up their defense a little towards the end of the half. They're lucky they're only down by 10.

Now nobody can shoot for shit in the second half. State finally makes a basket in the second half and they call a charge. Nobody's scored yet 2 minutes in. Sluggish.

Edit--closed to within five. We're getting inside now. Only had 4 points in the paint during the entire first half.

Shit. Cooper fouls out with 8:30 left. They had a chance to close within one on two free throws and Dove missed them both. Would have changed the entire momentum of the game. I don't mind getting beat by a better team, but missing free throws is giving it away. This would have been one hell of a confidence booster and RPI booster, too, to get this on the road. A&M is great, but the Cowboys are their own worst enemy tonight. Cooper got frustrated and he just didn't think.

    Dammit. :bash:

Okay, that seriously sucked. Aggies gave a spanking, and not the fun kind. Party hardy, Ash.

So I guess that puts A&M at #1 in the Big XII and Tech tied for 2nd with Texas and KU? I could just look it up but I'm lazy.

That's pretty much right about the standings.

State has to play Oklahoma at Gallagher Iba Monday night. Unless the wheels completely fall off, they should recover. What a sluggish mess tonight. A&M's size got to them, but they could have recovered. They just didn't take advantage. Never could get over the hump.

We almost blew that 11 point lead we had on KU all in about a 1 minute span between 3 minutes and 2 minutes left in the game. They tied it with around a minute left and then we knocked down a 3 and got that dunk to make it 5.

I saw it. You have to nail the lid shut with Kansas. They're dangerous that way.

Well that was an ass kicking and I'm drunk. On a night when Josh Carter (one of the best 3 point shooters in the country) goes 0 for 5 or 6 from downtown, the Ags still win by a ton. Defense is the name of the game, and the Aggies bring it every night.

My top ten at this point:

    1. Florida
    2. Wisconsin
    3. Oregon
    4. UCLA
    5. North Carolina
    6. Texas A&M
    7. Kansas
    8. Ohio State
    9. Pittsburgh
    10. Nevada

^ Yea I know Nevada is an oddball pick but I've seen them play and they are good.

I have no problem with that. I'll be interested to see how A&M handles the stretch of the Big 12 season, they still have road dates at Texas, Tech, Kansas, and OSU.

Speaking of, Bedlam Basketball tonight, looks like I'll be missing 24. :(

My Ags are gonna have a rough stretch of games coming up here pretty soon. I still think we are a little overrated. Probably borderline top 10. However, this team can definitely beat any of the other teams on our schedule on any given night.

OSU just had their rough stretch, 1-2 against the the other three best teams in the conference. I'll be disapponted if don't keep tonight's lesser opponent well in hand. :?:

So that's what's been wrong with Sean. He took a hard fall on the ice and knocked the shit out of his back. That's why he's been looking ready to pass out on the sidelines. Ouch. I've fallen on the ice. It sucks.

Okay, 62-58. Someone needs to let my Cowboys read the bulletin that they don't have to make it exciting near the end. It's not a rule. Arrrrrrghhhh....
