Hmm.... Take out the special teams and it looks like Tulane is the better team... this could be a good game...

Man, the Washington Huskies are gonna be in a foul mood when they play Oklahoma next week. You want to talk about a fucking bullshit way to lose a game. Sheesh.

Well, Oklahoma State has woken up in the second half. Three touchdowns in three minutes. It was 16-14 Houston at the half. Three minutes later it's 35-14 OSU. You'd think it was an OSU/Texas game, with us as Texas.

Why were you going for UCF?

And the ACC is taking another bashing in the Florida Miami game.

26-3 over Miami. I'll take it but they didn't look good doing it. The fat boys up front really let the Miami D line get to Tebow.

And in the USF game, that was a classic example of playing not to lose. 24-10 with a few minutes left and they completely phoned it in. They better bring it next week against Kansas (cos I'll be there).

Auburn is the only game I was watching that went my way. NOW, obviously if one game is going to go your way, that's the one you want, but I really wish Ole Miss had pulled out a win and Alabama and OU had lost.

I wish Ole Miss had won, but I liked seeing East Carolina stomp West VA, and Alabama won. You're not going to pull for Bama in out of conference games?

To paraphrase Pat Dye (according to my father, who was at the party) "I don't care if our National Championship hopes ride on it.... never, never, NEVER pull for those sonsabitches.

This was in response to someone asking how hard it was going to be for him to pull for Alabama that weekend (if they beat whoever we were playing, we'd go to the SEC championship).

Texas Tech is 2-0 as predicted... what wasn't predicted was a bad game at qb for didn't mean the team fell apart. The defense stepped up, I look forward to the meeting with blOw-SU. :bergman:

Is East Carolina going to be the the BCS buster this year? They're through the killer part of their schedule now.

Well, it's not like they're my favorite team, but Bama gets a :techman: from me in nonconference games. (And rarely in conference if it helps Auburn a lot.) I save my irrational hatred for teams that really deserve it - like all of the Pac 10 and the Big Televen.

I went over to a buddy's house and watched the USF vs Kansas game. That was a barn burner. 37-34 with the winning kick coming with 0:02 left on the clock.

What a great game. I was sitting in the end zone seats and as soon as it came off his foot I thought WIDE RIGHT, but it had that little draw on it and all was well in Tampa.

I was very impressed with Reesing and his receivers. He had no hesitation throwing across his body or to the opposite side of the field. And Mangino in person does look like a short blob. Get that guy some gastric bypass.
