    In Sanford's last four games, against Oregon, USC, Cal and Notre Dame;
Gerhart has carried 116 times for 742 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Oh, and caught three passes for 71 yards.

Pain? You think because the Red Roosters took advantage of an OU squad ravaged by injuries I'm sitting here crying in my milk?

You see, unlike yourself, I can be confident that despite the woes of this season, OU will be back next year, and the next, and the next. That's what distinguishes elite programs from the 1-hit wonders like Texas Tech, they reload, not rebuild.

The Red Roosters had their chance last year to stake their claim to national prominence with a prime-time signature win over the Sooners, and they delivered an epic fail, crashing & burning for all the nation to witness. And after that once-in-a-generation decent squad, this year your beloved Roosters have sunk back into the pit of irrelevancy from whence they came. Enjoy the next 15 years of Rooster mediocrity while watching the Sooners play for more championships.

On the subject of the Stoops to Notre Dame rumors...

It's that time of year again, the annual "is Stoops staying or leaving" guessing game the media loves to play.

Stoops is already firmly entrenched at a program that he knows can recruit top-flight, Heisman & NFL-caliber talent, compete year in & year out for the Big 12 championship, and consistently be in the forefront of the national championship race. Why would he jump ship to take over an impossible rebuilding job at Notre Dame? The glory of the Notre Dame legacy? Please. Notre Dame hasn't been an elite program in years. The exclusive NBC contract to televise their every game is a pathetic joke. I'd much rather have seen Cincinatti's games this season, or TCU's games. Notre Dame fans are living 30 years in the past, spending all their time watching Rudy. Without the benefit of a conference affiliation, Notre Dame will never return to national prominence.

Unless Stoops is really bored with Norman and wants to roll the dice on a program that has chewed up and spit out it's last 2 coaches, I don't see him going anywhere.

I see you decided to make your return to posting with the shotgun. Not a bad choice in breaching weapons. Say enough shit and you're bound to get something right.

Notre Dame needs to join the Big X, so they can have a real Conference Championship.

And then Utah and Boise St. need to join the Pac10 for the same reason, and so I don't have to hear one of them bitching every year.

Who is going to watch "The Civil War" tomorrow night on ESPN at 9:00 PM ET? #16 Oregon State vs. #7 Oregon. It's going to be a good game. This decides who is going to the Rose Bowl.
    From ESPN:
"It's the Civil War For The Roses. There's never been a bigger reward for the winner of Oregon State-Oregon: a trip to the Rose Bowl. The Beavers had a shot at Pasadena last season, but were routed by the Ducks at home. Oregon State has not been to the Rose Bowl since 1964. Oregon hasn't made the trip since 1994."

This is going to be a good game! If Oregon State loses, Cal beats Washington, and usc loses to Arizona, Cal will be #2 in the Pac-10!!! That would be awesome, but I'm betting they will just be #3, since usc won't lose to Arizona at home.

GO DUCKS! (for now anyway. :P)

I made it to the Tech vs Baylor game in Cowboys Stadium over Thanksgiving. For those of you that caught my other thread, yes the tickets made it on the Greyhound. I just wanted to show these 2 pics because the put the size of that screen in perspective. It's easier to watch the game on the screen if your tickets are anything like mine were. I found myself splitting time between the screen and the field.

You realize your elite team has been splitting wins with Tech for the better part of a decade now?

You left the thread because OU is having an off year, pathetic. Crawl back in your hole.

The Civil War just started with Oregon State kicking off to Oregon. The game for the Rose Bowl!

Damn, the Civil War was a GOOD GAME! Holy shit! Those teams were so well matched! I thought Oregon was going to lose, but they turned it around at the half and came out 4 points ahead! 37 Oregon, 33 Oregon State.

Oregon is going to the Rose Bowl to play Ohio State! Should be a good game!

I think its clear at this point that being the head coach at Cincinnati is much more prestigious than Notre Dame.

Don't like the shitty play calling. Sorry but its been pure unadulterated bullshit. That 1st touchdown should have never been. His knee was down. The 2nd 'Bama touch down was set up by a play where he should have been called out of bounds 15 yards prior.

Spoken like a true Gator fan. Even the Tebow-worshipping announcers said he was in on the replays, man.

Having lived in Alabama for a whole year once, I approve of the beat-down they are administering.

Bama is flat out putting a beating on Florida, you can't blame this on the refs.

Yup. Meyer's been out-gameplanned on this one and McElroy's out-Tebowing Tebow tonight.

To be honest you are right. 'Bama took the game away from Florida when after the coin toss they decided to receive. At that point they took the game away from Florida psychologically. Meyer got out coached.

Ahhh fuck it, 12-0 in the regular season aint too shabby and there is still the Sugar Bowl.

Do you want me to meet up with you at the usualy point and bring the ammo?

I actually want Alabama to win the National Championship now. The reason being, once he's won one, he'll be expected to win one every year. Then, when he slips up and has an off season, Saban will be toast and Alabama will spend the next decade wandering in the wilderness once again. :bergman:

Colt McCoy came within a nanosecond of making the worst play in college football history but the whorns squeak by despite his turdliness. If that faggot wins the Heisman, I'm going to kill a lot of people.

I'm utterly disgusted with how Cal played up at Washington. That was pathetic! The defense could have been stronger, if only Syd'Quan Thompson wasn't injured. Then the offense. Yes I could bitch about how Jahvid Best wasn't there. I could bitch about how Riley plays as a quarterback, but I won't. I'm going to bitch about that pathetic excuse we have for an offensive line! WTF Tedford? Get a fucking offensive line! Cal could have been way better this year if the offensive line didn't allow defenders in to sack Riley or get Best or Vereen in the bakfield. It is what pisses me off most about this team.
Cal was set up to get 2nd place in the Pac-10, but nope! They had to lose and get 6th. (There was a 3 way tie for 2nd.) Ugh, it just pisses me off.

Did Texas really deserve to be in the Big Game? They got VERY lucky against Nebraska.

What if Texas had lost? Who would have gotten the shot at Alabama? TCU?
