About fucking time. Good Job Auburn, you managed to get a TD and get on top... ... of Louisiana Tech.
There we go. 3'n'out then an interception. Seems our D realized who the fuck they are playing for in the lockerroom. Keep it up. ESPNU.
First half: Auburn failed to force a single punt. Gave up 10 points. Second half (so far): 3'n'out, interception, 3'n'out. Now I just gotta pretend we are playing a real team...
^ Shut'up you. And another 3'n'out. I can now switch from Crown with a splash of RC back to just beer.
The second half is more to my liking. How much of this is us getting our act together, and how much to us playing A FUCKING WAC TEAM who doesn't have the stamina to play 4 quarters against an SEC team.
Yep. They're fucked. My son of a bitch putz of a boss drove all the way down today and he has to drive all the way back tonight because there's a 9 AM meeting tomorrow he can't miss. I'm sure he thought he could make it because he'd be celebrating and feeling good. He's gonna be soooooo miserable. Up yours with a red hot poker, Vince, you fucking schmuck. I feel bad for Sam Bradford and how terribly he must feel not being able to return to the game, but I have no sympathy for you, fuck stick.
I deny the existence of the first half. Never happened. Auburn wins 24-3. Not a bad first game. Seemed to have a decent rhythm although La Tech didn't really do much to throw them off beat. Next week against MS State should give a clearer picture of how we're gonna do this season.
[action=Ancalagon]is trying to pretend he is just watching an SEC v ACC game but is having a hard time lying to himself. [/action]
On the one hand, it sucks that OU only lost b/c of an injury and I hope he is back next game. On the other hand... OU lost.
Bradford's questionable for next game as well. It's possible he'll back, but the other doctor they talked to said that, typically, it can take a couple of weeks. I believe OU's got a patsy on the schedule for next week, so they'd be wise to rest Bradford. What struck me even before Bradford left was what a liability the inexperience of OU"s brand new offensive line was. Yes, they're top rated talent, but that inexperience really showed throughout the game. BYU had an 8 play goal line stand against OU. Held them for 3 downs, then committed a stupid pass interference in the end zone giving OU another series of downs from the 2 yard line down to the one foot line and OU couldn't punch it in. They were going for it on fourth and got a delay of game. That was after Landry Jones came in. The O-line didn't look much better with Bradford in there. I watched the whole game. You can't put the loss entirely on Landry Jones.
Wait, wait! You fucking kidding me?!?!?! The Huskies who won ONE FUCKING GAME LAST YEAR are 7 up on LSU.
What would we do without TV commentators?!?!?! "10 yard penalty against Tech." "That's a backup" REALLY?!?!?! WHEN YOU GET A PENALTY YOU DON'T MOVE THE BALL FORWARD?!?!?!
fyi, this was my cousin, which made national news (okay, so ESPN counts!) He's the dude yelling and the guy in the gray hoodie you see in the last couple of seconds. Actually, now that I think of it... you probably met him that Iron Bowl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7TxIMAwc1k
From SI.com's College Football guru, Stewart Mandel: I couldn't have summed it up better...other than to add that the Tigers "D" did a fine job silencing Juice Williams and the rest of the Illini offense. :slice:
