I hear rumours that the Tide is throwing their lot in with Oregon.

Doesn't surprise me. I pull for Auburn and anyone that plays Alabama. I despise Alabama fans and I want them to lose and cry at every opportunity.

I'm just honest about it. Every Alabama fan I know feels the same way about Auburn, they just usually hide it behind some overly polite bullshit.

Uh oh...Mike Leach is replacing Ralph Friedgen at Maryland,

That's a low-class move by the Maryland AD, firing the ACC Coach of the Year. Friedgen has done a good job and this isn't really going over well in the DC area.

Should we rejoice or mourn with the arrival of Leach?

Rejoice, the day of the Pirate Turtle has arrived.

And so Maryland hires Edsall away from UConn, Pitt is open but no way they take a free spirit like Leach after their debacle.

I go with the PAC 10 here just because I am tired of the SEC. Despite the slow start I still expect Auburn to run away with this thing.

That was the best championship game I remember since the USC-UT game back in '05.
