I can't control what Trump or any other person does. I can only control what I do and that's not always a sure thing. If I'm handed a lesson in humility I use it as a tool for improvement.
You have been handed a tool for personal improvement. I did the research and found a chart that .. more or less, accurately provides the level of reliability of news sources. Next time trump or any other Republican says something that is so outlandish, something so intolerable and illegal that some Democrat has done, look for that on one of the more reliable news sources and base your opinion on that. Don't just take someone else's lies as fact.
here's the problem - many news sources won't report on outlandish things Democrats do. They bury that shit as much as possible. Not blaming them, they have to feed their families and everyone has a boss that runs the show. But once they convince people that they are the only credible news sources they can slant things however they want, because they know nobody will question their credibility.
You can't learn about them, because the media bury them. Which proves how bad they are: the misbehavior of Democrats is so bad that the mainstream media, determined to see America become thoroughly communist, doesn't dare report on them for fear of discrediting the People's Demokratic Party. And the very refusal of the media to report on those incidents proves they exist. Why would the media try to cover them up if they had no basis in reality? Why can't you understand simple logic? It's obvious!
Not for nothing, but you could support a more honorable and decent republican party by yelling at them over supporting Trump and his people. When you are complicit and make excuses for those people you are part of the support structure and are the problem. If the supposedly decent people walked away from the crazy it would collapse, but you are not decent because you are not walking away.
Aaand..., here's the problem. You believe the lies told by the right. The chart shows reliability. Think it was ... @spot261 who linked to the website that described how the news sources were graded. Also, the chart shows right wing news sources as well. So, you have no excuse except to believe the lies told by trump so that you stay loyal to the fascist.
Trump will be history in a couple of weeks. Dollars-to-donuts myself and most Republicans will forget about him long before you do. He's in your head to stay. Factor in the left will be blaming everything on him for the next four years minimum.
dude I stepped right into that! Damn you really should move to Hollywood with that razor sharp wit and insight. You could really clean up!
That's so not the point. The point is, you are so gullible and it's because you don't verify what's been told to you through reputable news sources.
hmmm.....if I've been told something by a reputable news source then why would I have to verify it? Wouldn't that be redundant?
Yea, commas ... The point is, you are so gullible and it's because you don't verify, what's been told to you, through reputable news sources. is that better? or maybe ... The point is, you are so gullible and it's because you don't verify.
you know google isn't a single shot, right? You can click on multiple sources for any subject until you find a reputable news source. A lot of wordforge members use Facebook and Twitter which I've heard good things about, but I don't indulge so I'm no expert on these.
Facebook and Twitter are not reliable except for "This just happened/is happening now" type stuff. Everyone - everyone - on those platforms has an agenda.
On a personal note, my 2021 is off to a rollicking start. I just wrecked a $600 laptop trying to replace a $9.00 cooling fan. We now return you to your regularly scheduled bickering...
I used to be fairly good at replacing parts on the old tower computers because they were easy to get into and everything was obvious. Whatever genius decided that the fan on an HP laptop has to be sandwiched between the hard drive/memory card/etc. and the keyboard interface, squooshed between the screen hinge and the starter, and then installed with these teeny tiny screws... Ah, well. Off to see whether eBay has some after-holidays sales... First World Problems.
Waayyy back when I took my computer repair course 20 years ago, the term for easily replaceable stuff like CD drives, disk drives, etc, was "service replaceable components". Because in the olden days, you had to know how to solder transistors. Now, it was cheaper to just rip out your RAM, and chuck it in the trash for a new one. Well NOW-now, the whole computer is a service replaceable component. You can probably get a more powerful computer for $200 now.
