Well, both might be tolerable as McGuffins. I just hope we don't have to take them back for good.

Well, Chloe may be a pop star moonlighting as an actor, but the rest of the troupe seem to be professionals. And even Chloe knocked it out of the park in her panic-attack scene when she realized Ward was Hydra.

Technically, they're all professionals as long as they're getting a paycheck for this show, but some really shouldn't be. And Chloe played a woman trying to remember how to play a panic attack in that episode.

It's popcorn television that ties into popcorn cinema. I think taking the Marvel cinematic universe too seriously is just going to lead to a bad time.

Case in point - Bill Paxton chewing the scenery in the last couple of episodes, and his last scene, especially. He was obviously having a good time with it, and it fit with the tenor of the show.

Again, Paxton isn't the problem. I'm not looking for Shakespeare, I'm looking for good genre acting, which is what Paxton delivered. Some of the other blank slates, not so much.

If by good you mean chewing the scenery down to nothing....

Meh. Warehouse 13 did it first. Warehouse 13 did it better.

Warehouse 13 is a ripoff of Friday The 13th The Series, so it did nothing first.

So, I'm on another binge-watch, and I'm catching up to this now.

It's SO much better having "Iron Man 3", and "Winter Soldier", in the bag for context.

Well, there, seen it all now, and I'm eating a family sized bucket of Kentucky Fried Crow.

    It's better on binge-watch.
No commercials, and actual HD, because ABC is shitty on my cable.

I watched the last 5 or 6 episodes on In-Demand and like Smallville or Arrow, it plays better watching it back to back.

Wow, Lucy Lawless joining the MCU, and nothing?
The John Castle RR thread is that enthralling?

I'm not getting the Big Deal here

It's not like her first gig in something like this, after all she's done Xena, BSG and prolly other stuff I can't recall just now.

I'll be interested to see who'll she play though, my guess is She-Hulk, got the stature for that.

    Not her first Marvel rodeo.

Remember her cameo in 2002's Spider-Man?

Whilst on the subject of Agent Carter, let me just say that Hayley Atwell is an exceptionally handsome female.
