What the fuck is he on about? He didn't even answer the first question. He wants to deport Morgan because of globalisation which means tyranny, which means he needs guns because they're be another Hitler?

Anyhow, he's a very animated fellow isn't he.

I'm aware of who Alex Jones is, yet I've never watched his stuff, listened to his show or been to his website. Thus he has the same status in my life as a Kardashian, or Honey Boo Boo.

Of course I don't watch cable news, which means I've never watched Piers Morgan either.

These are all accurate are they? To be fair, I did watch the whole interview on Youtube, rather then the CNN clips linked to above.

On the contrary, he made Morgan look good, which is regrettable as Morgan is a cunt (for the Daily Mirror and telephone hacking issues that Jones actually mentions in the interview). The ending, where he tries to do an English accent was really scraping the barrel of immaturity.

With the number of links posted on here in the past from his Infowars website, chances are you probably have read his stuff at least once.

Jones is definitely a lunatic and gun owners aren't doing any favors to themselves by letting people like Alex Jones be their flag barer.

You'd be surprised at the amount of threads around here that go unread by me.

There is no legislation regulating the press.

What happen was that an inquiry, lead by a High Court Judge, concluded that the way forward was for a new regulatory body underpinned by legislation. What that means is that legislation was state that there has to be a regulatory body and then that body would set up the rules for regilation (rather than the regulations themselves being statutory).

However, even to get as far as statutory underpinning for a regulatory body to exist, a bill needs to successfully be introduced to, and passed through, Parliament. This has not yet happen and there is debate over whether or not the Government will even bother to introduce such a bill.

So, as it stands, nothing is different. Should it change, journalists would ultimately be subject to whatever rules the regulator brought in, rather than the Act of Parliament underpinning the regulator itself. At present such rules have not be proposed, since no new regulator exists.

I used to hear this guy when he would call into the Mancow Radio show back right after 9/11. I honestly thought it was a hoax, you know a radio bit. He'd pull some obscure article froma newspaper from 20 years ago, read a selected sentence about chem trails or the Illumanati or George bush being a giant V Lizard. They use to make fun of him on the air because he tries to sound like Hulk Hogan when he spouts his idiocy.

I think it may have been on his podcast, but Glenn Beck always plays audio from him talking to Charlie Sheen about seeing Sheens hernia. Funny stuff.
