    Shocking and tragic.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-21455453

Shoots his model and smoking hot girlfriend because he thinks its someone breaking in. :(

Before everyone jumps on the South Africa is a hell hole with scumbags everywhere, just remember this is a high profile sports star, known the world over and lives in a gated community with armed guards on patrol. Still, very tragic whatever way this went down.

If she was a pain in the arse I suppose its a nice defence - thought she was a burglar. Using that in court, Im not sure if he'll have a leg to stand on.

    *I'll get my coat.

This is hitting the news this morning, sounds bad. I'd like to hear more details, was she entering late for some reason? Assuming it was dark, never, ever when you aren't sure what you're aiming at. :(

Hes been charged with murder, not manslaughter. So maybe the authorities dont believe it was an accident.

I gotta admit, I'm a sports fan but I've never heard of this guy until today. According to news reports he seems to be pretty famous.

Then again, I have no interest in "running" and I've never watched the Special Olympics.

There's been domestic abuse allegations and neighbors report hearing an argument before she was shot. I'm wondering if it wasn't caused by "'roid rage."

Too many people with guns don't know or don't believe this type of guideline. Doesn't appear to be the issue in this case, though as he's been charged with murder.

Perhaps the blades were initially owned by a killer, and they've taken over?

I suppose you are from North America so don't really know about the sporting world. :finger:

First disabled athlete to participate in the Olympics proper. Think he might have got through to the semi of the 200m in London. Not bad for someone with no legs!

I'm from Canada. We do tend to have a more global view of sports than our friends to the South, eh?

However, your country likes cricket so you're automatically deducted one point for gayness.

As I said to Dan, running isn't a sport. It's a form of escape. :finger:

He's apparently a pretty unlikeable guy. Many say that he extorted the IOC into letting him compete last summer.

I should apologize for my earlier posts and disrespect for the running community.

Clearly, I like running, at least when it's done by lovely ladies like in my av. I could watch that shit 24/7.

But men running just doesn't look right. Have you ever noticed that? I don't know what it is (maybe the cock and balls get in the way?) but whenever I see a man running he looks like he's either gay or in serious pain.
