I'm encountering board slowdowns and refusals to load just like we were seeing prior to the big fix. WTF?

Someone is hogging all our server.

Question: I have a 16x2 connection here at work (well, it's 8x1 but we're upgrading to 16x2 mb/s) and a backup T1. I could give this board a server I use to backup my main fileserver on... that would basically have no load on it. 4 gigs of ram... etc.

What can be done to find out who's taking our server space?

Well, I pinged the server. We're hosted at 67.18.69.178. I searched for that domain, and we are apparently hosted on the same server as "niggermania.com."

The company providing the service is very large. As long as bills are paid and no laws are outright being broken, they probably laissez-faire the whole thing.

^ I just came out of an extended freeze. If we're going to do this harassment thing right, Elwood is going to have to give us some phone numbers so we can call them round the clock. After all, there's got to be some advantage to having members in so many time zones.

I've asked Nick to look at this thread and respond to it, but I will talk about our host and any sites that may be hosted along side us.

They're very, very pro-free speech even if you, me, and the host don't like it. Basically, as long as it's legal, they say to go for it.

Well hopefully though you guys can show that that site is a resource hog to the point where this site is getting shafted.

I don't think we should be harassing other customers of the company that provides this one space. Let's not invite trouble.
