Couldn't access the board at all from around 1130 to 1210 CST on 17 Feb.

When I could access it, it was slow as hell. It took the better part of a minute for this reply page to load.

Well the board has been slower than molasses today, February 17, 2008, 11:00 am to 11:42 am Pacific time.

Possibly so, though it's been a while since I last checked.


Anyway, it seems to be fast now.

More like all day for me, only been able to get on and post a few times before it got so slow i just stopped trying.

The board has been spotty for me today, February 18, 2008. It either hangs, or takes minutes to jump from one forum to another. At one point I was attempting to reply in a thread using the quick reply feature. When it finally hit the system what I saw on my end was about six duplicate posts.

Yep still taking forever to load or just not loading at all.

This thread is going to end up going two ways. Either we piss Elwood off and he'll ban our collective asses, or he'll get pissed off and allow donations to get a bigger and more badass server.

The only reason I'm participating in this thread is because Elwood requested that we give him dates and times when we have problems accessing the board.

We're getting a new server regardless, however, we've paid for this one up to the end of the month.

Does that mean we should stop bitching?

I would advise it yes.

Is that per Elwood, or something that you are desiring to see? Because the last few times Elwood posted in this thread he seemed somewhat interested in knowing when we were experiencing problems.

Is it per Elwood? No. Will it make any difference either way? No. We're going to switch servers regardless, so it makes no sense to continue to post problems when they're just going to go away once we switch.

Then, when I got home, I found I was still logged on here--to that one Barack Obama thread.
