Okay...but if you ever need to, you poke a hole in the pie plate, then with about a foot or so of string, you tie one end of the string to the plate, and the other to the top of a pole, then you stick the pole in the ground in your garden, and then when the crows come around, you kill them.

So. In some sort of attempt to segue back to the original topic, does this British soldier's heroism and action sufficiently heroic enough to offset Dan's pussyism and inaction? Have we found the Anti-Dan? Is there an award the Crown provides for that?

This soldier only risked life and limb to kill a bunch of terrorist scum who really had it coming and, in the process, saved a whole bunch of his comrades in arms while serving his country and bettering the world for all mankind.

That's not nearly enough to offset Dan's contribution to the average.

They are only avoidable if both sides want to avoid them. If one side wants them, it's on. And you know, you can be in the wrong place at the wrong time and still get drug into something through no fault of your own.
