And if you've ever driven in Malibu, you know that the roads are narrow (for California) and winding and the terrain is mountainous, which means "Pay the fuck attention!" So, having been on those roads, my guess is that the only crime Jenner was guilty of was (A) the same as the dead driver, i.e., not taking the terrain into consideration and (B) being a celebrity and therefore a target of a family looking to capitalize on a tragic situation. @The Flashlight will no doubt weigh in with his usual moronic opinion that all celebrities other than his hero Cosby are guilty by virtue of media exposure.
In any case, with the attorneys she can afford, even if they do charge her, she'll do a suspended sentence, or house arrest, something like that. Still, I agree that the traffic police are out to get you where they can; they don't care who you are or what you have between your legs. All they care about are fines and quotas.
This is yet another example of how carforge is stunningly misinformed about road safety and driving rules. Of course it's the fault of the person in the following car. It is her responsibility to follow at a distance that allows adequate time to stop if the car in front does so. That is the law and for good reason -- the person in front needs to be able to react to a sudden hazard without having to make sure the person behind won't hit them.
Show of hands, please. How many of you "experts" have driven the snakey downslopes in Malibu? Yeah, thought so. If this were just your Average Bimbo rear-ending your other Average Bimbo, the media wouldn't have picked up on it and the casualty's family might have filed a lawsuit that would have gone unnoticed. But because it's OMG Caitlyn Jenner!!!! it's a BFD. I wasn't there, I don't know what actually happened in those nanoseconds (waits for someone to clip this and use it as my entire response), but I do know those roads, and I do know the media's need for . So, we'll see...
That only means that the driver following is almost always negligent. It doesn't, however, absolve the lead driver of any contributory negligence. Fault often has to be apportioned.
I have, so take back the snooty Daytonism. Yeah, but what does that have to do with who caused the accident? You might know the roads, but you don't know how to drive on them. Not safely, at any rate.
Only with how much attention the media decides to devote to it. If it were just Your Average Smackup, it would be the lead story in the Malibu Times for a day or two. If it were "Bruce Jenner," it would be Headline News on the nationals for a coupla days. But because it's "How dare 'Bruce' start calling himself 'Caitlyn'?" it's obviously gonna be a national case of "See? Female hormones...whattaya expect?" for months and months and months.
Interesting how a person's celebrity impacts Garamet's perception of whether that person is guilty of a crime. Of course, it doesn't seem to generate any sympathy on her part for Cosby. Let's see....I wonder what might be different between Jenner & Cosby.....trannyism? Maybe..... Athletic ability? Jenner was a world-class Olympian, perhaps Garamet was a jockstrap groupie back in the day. Hmmmmmmm.........couldn't be skin color, could it?
Hmm, gul and garamet turning on each other here, gul and Ancalagon turning on each other in the Ancalagon call out thread. My skit in this thread called it. Oh, please, do continue, you glorious slapstick knuckleheads. This puts me in an excellent humor.
I'm amazed how many people out there still don't understand basic traffic rules such as keeping plenty of distance between you and the car in front. That's basic stuff you learn at 16 yrs old.
Purpose-shmurpose, its already off the rails. One of you will be dead at the end of it. Or, at the very least, tear soaked and butt-hurt.
Cos still won't return your calls, huh? Flashy's sad because Cosby won't return his calls. Poor Flashy...
don't take my word for it... The use of the word in the context of the Jenner accident is perfectly consistant with this definition. Ahem. and So...eh...yeah.
regarding the accident: Also from the article... Make of this what you will. At first blush it seems to me likely they know Jenner's attorney would point to Howe's mistake if Jenner were sued first. http://www.advocate.com/transgender...ed-caitlyn-jenner-crash-reportedly-being-sued
You forget that this was a conspiracy to kill Howe so that Jenner could steal her vagina. It's all part of Jenners plan to become a woman.
I think his ultimate goal was to steal her uterus too. So that the world could have more Jenner spawn.
