But Israel could have bombed the Iranian's nuclear facilities years ago, but Obama keeps telling them hold off because he's negotiating. Now he's going to try to hold them off for two more years, during which Iran will keep enriching uranium and keep moving toward breakout.

Yes and no. Israel could attack selected nuclear facilities. But I doubt they have enough aircraft with long enough ranges to hit the majority of targets in one massive strike which would be preferrable to keep facilities from being moved or protected further.

I fear this deal will delay an Israeli attack to the point that Iran is near a "breakout" (suddenly ability to unveil a workable weapon).

If Iran gets near that point, the IDF won't come in with 2,000 lb. high explosive bombs, if they think Iran "might" have actually built a nuclear device, the Israelis won't take chances and they'll light up the Iranian nuclear facilities with artificial sunshine just in case.

I've gone my entire lifetime without a nuclear weapon being detonated in anger during it.

I would just as soon go through the rest of my life that way.

Fortunately, the framework puts Iran further away from a bomb than they are now.

How does it do that, since they don't have to ship their enriched uranium abroad, don't have to destroy any centrifuges, and won't allow inspections of new cites, nor snap inspections of old ones? The idea was to maintain Iran at a one-year breakout capability, but by the time the negotiations have completed and any provisions implemented, they will already have had that year.

You must be going on John Kerry's version of the verbal agreement. He's the same guy that says he dropped CIA agents off on the Island of Misfit Toys on Christmas Eve, 1969.

Or the nukes can be the ultimate leverage for "convert or die." Having a no doubt about it bomb that works and goes BOOM ready for Israel or
a major US city would be less than pleasant to say the least.

Obama and Kerry are going to look like down-syndrome retards and there's nothing you can do about it. :)

I usually ignore your posts as they're not worth reading, but I will make an exception in this case to point out why you should read more than just a headline:

HuffPo is going ballistic that Barack the Inept and Kerry the Incompetent won't get their completely one-sided "deal" despite the administration's assurances that pretty much amount to "Don't worry about it."

John Kerry has substantially less reason to lie than his Iranian counterpart.

reagan made seven executive agreements including one withIran to trade arms for hostages. Yet Republicans now pretend any executive agreeme is illegal and something they have never heard of because... Obama.

The only thing more pathetic is the right wing ignoring all the professional atomic experts and pretending this isn't a good deal for all involved. They are in pure form proving yet again that facts and reality do not matter for them.

A sizeable portion of this goyim's extended family is Jewish and he breaks bread with them every Sunday, so fuck off with that. Between your constant insistences that rightforge all think alike and your inability to to address my rather salient point, you sure look like an ass right about now. Must be a day that ends in 'y'. :)

Lack of ethnic diversity is a minus in my book but Portland is looking increasingly attract to me simply because you guys actually have water. That home prices are laughably cheap is another positive point for Portland.

Who cares what Reagan did THIRTY YEARS ago?

Reagan did make a number of mistakes you know. I"ve repeatedly mentioned some of them here IIRC.

You can't just announce "Reagan did it so all conservatives should fall in line in favor of it".

That's nice. But your sample size is too small for generalizability.
