 That's his troll du jour. For awhile he was the stupid schlub who works his ass off at a Radio Shack and can't spell. Then he was Rapey McCreampuff. Now he's some weird, saccharin-y stalker who says ostensibly innocent things that he likely spends a great deal of time crafting to be as annoying as possible. And stalks all the female posters. Shit, half the posts in the female Blue Room threads are by Ted. More probably.

    Riiight.

Because you've never misread a poster's intentions before.
 Dude. WTF planet are you livin' on? Tamar gets played more often than "YMCA" on the jukebox at a San Francisco leather bar.

I've had plenty of friends that were girls throughout various ages in my life, and there were more than a few that I had no sexual attraction to whatsoever. Is it so inconceivable that a man be interested in a woman for reasons other than sex?

Typical response, but I don't submit to your line of reasoning.

Anyhow, back on topic, I hope Nick will actually learn something from this debacle and that Elwood will bar his return to an administrative position until it is clear that Nick can be a responsible and respectful member of the administration.

In the meantime, I have a brother who is fresh out of college working IT support for the state and I can ask him if he can lend a hand if it is needed.

Good point. Rosencrantz, crank out another female dual, start a blog, and see if Ted follows you around like a puppy.

    ^^

That's a whole nother spin, eh?

The guy who pretended to be a girl is calling other people creepy and gay....

    Hmmmmm.....

One wonders what he would have said if it had been someone else playing that role.

Sweetheart, you know I love you and all, but if the history of the World has shown us anything, it is that the object of the stalker is the last person that can be trusted to identify the motives of the stalker.

There was nothing abusive in the thread until the pissing match started though.

I can see maybe a thread that says "All you fuckers that are watching reality TV need to get AIDS of the ass and die!" but I didn't see that in the thread in question.

Perhaps it was = as I suggested earlier - just a pathetically executed plan to troll.

Hopefully Nick can learn from this whole episode how to do it right.

Maybe he needs some remediation at the "Flashlight Academy of Assholeism"

Post #5 in the original thread is where he blew it.

    I've named that post Gavrilo.

I wouldn't have said anything, and no one ever said what I did was creepy.

    Well, until now. :diacanu:

But Shep, you let me know when I've ever made a girl on WF feel uncomfortable. Then you may have a point.

Ironic you should mention that yourself, since the fact that I fooled you so completely should be indicative of the fact that you can't ever trust anyone's motives online.

Ted simply takes it more seriously than I did.

If that's the public spin you wanna put on it, okay. Be rather hard, and pointless, to argue this with you less I want to get banned again.

I think you're misunderstanding my intention here.

I'm not trying to argue with you. I'm not trying to say "Ha-ha, fooled you!"

I'm trying to say "Don't trust anyone." And by example, I'm pointing to myself.

Ted has a bad history around women on WF. And you have a history, unfortunately, of believing bald-faced lies. You're too trusting at times.

I think Ted's creepy. That's not a troll. That's not an exaggeration. It's what I really think. And I really hope, because of that, that you won't let him get TOO close to ya, cause I honestly think he could be potentially dangerous.

Ted is only as dangerous as you let him be. He'll never come across that screen with 99.99% of posters. So unless a WF woman is just plain retarded and gives out her real contact info, he can only inflict emotional pain. And it would take a pretty weak person to get hurt over something that said on a bbs.

    Agreed.

But I do wonder how hard it would be for a certain determined individual to locate Tamar. Or many others of us. I've certainly revealed enough taht I could be tracked down easily enough, though I don't fear anyone who'd come looking for me. BUT, it is something to be aware of I think.

I'm pretty sure there are a number of people here that could track me down in real life, and I'm not including the people here I've actually met.
