I'm somewhat perturbed that Billy Jack didn't get me even one rep...I had hoped it would be more popular than that...

I've seen it once or twice.

I recall a distinct "feel bad about the Indians" hippie flavoring.

    LOL. Shut up, you!

He was hot when I was young.

Now his movies are very dated, but at the time, they seemed pretty hip to a 13 year old.

Of course, I can no longer watch "Laugh In" either, because stuff that was cool back then is so dated now that it's unwatchable.

But ah, Billy Jack. What an alpha male.

I've always gotten a chuckle over the paradox of a hippie peacenik who kicks ass.

    Ahh, baby boomers.

Okay, so does this mean Nick's gone or no? It'd suck if his hissyfit chased him off the board for good. :marathon:

All he's communicated to me is that he's tired of posting right now. Maybe he'll come back and maybe he won't. If he doesn't, it's his loss. :clyde:

Please don't beg him to join the staff again, Elwood. He's expressed many times that he clearly doesn't want to be on staff (or so he says) but does it out of loyalty to you (...?). If his immaturity isn't enough to keep him off staff, the fact that he doesn't want to be there should be.

    YMMV.

    That's cool. Everyone needs breaks.

So what's up with his account? Why are his pips gone and he off the member list?

When you change your e-mail address or password the software kinda dumps you into a limbo user group until you confirm the change. You can still post and all, in fact, not showing up on the member list or having pips is the only negative thing we've found about it.

Him acting like an assclown for lulz?

If he wants to act like a dick as a regular poster, I don't give a fuck, but he needs to stay the hell off the staff until he grows the fuck up.

Except Anna is not on staff.

And besides, I have no problem with Nick acting like a douche while he was on staff. Why should admins be treated like second class citizens?

Just as long as they don't act like a douche in their staff capacity. Clyde could call me a baby-raping cannibal if he wanted to, just as long as he'd stop moving my fucking threads. ;)

And even if I were, I would like to think I've learned enough to know that:

-Mods are indeed held to a higher standard. Not on paper, of course, but if mods/admins were treated like every other poster, "Meka" wouldn't be the epic 1300 post soap opera it is.

-You can't be a snarky, sarcastic git on staff matters.

I won't apologize for liking t3h drama. I come here for the lulz. That, and because TV sucks these days. And that is why I'll never join the staff here--it wouldn't be fun to me to have to second-guess anything I say and do. And being the creampuff I am, I'd probably make Listkeepr look like Clyde in comparison anyway. :clyde:
