http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-carrie-fisher-cardiac-20161223-story.html Oh, shit. Damn you, 2016. If you take Princess Leia, and put a dark cloud over Episode 8, well...I can't get any madder at this year, really.
Bummer. Though there is probably enough footage of her already finished to complete Episode 8 anyway so that shouldn't be an issue.
You are just one massive fuck of a heartless bastard. You really must have some diagnosed mental issues.
She's in critical condition, not dead. There have been a number of patients who have made a full recovery after a critical heart attack.
Her brother told the AP about 35 minutes ago that her condition had stabilized. Perhaps that's good news?
IIRC from the Expanded Universe Luke's force abilities don't include the specialized healing power. One of his Jedi Academy students did though.
I heard ventilator and ICU and her brother is down playing the "stable" part of her condition. I guess it depends on how long she wasn't breathing. What a shitty year.
Stable in ICU means vital signs aren't bouncing all over the place, the nurses aren't having to give medication intravenously to keep the vital signs stable. Ditto for respiratory status. And yes, even on a vent things can go screwy. Considering what I've heard, she might be sedated in ICU on the vent while her body heals, and/or determine what else the doctors need to do before they take her off the vent and get her to an IMCU.
Yeah, but frankly @Dayton3 deserved the wrath of @Zombie for that one. Talk about having misguided priorities.
Admiral Thrawn is canon though. All you geeks out there, if you fanfic reeeaaally hard, you get to be real (insert franchise).
