What public bathrooms are there downtown? Are you high?

I live near East Village. Yes, there's a problem, but most places here make you buy something to use the restroom or just don't have one for public use. That's pretty much the case in all four major cities here.

What do you suggest we do about tickets that only exist to raise revenue when they can't pay the fine? Send them to our already overcrowded prisons and have them take the space a rapist ought to occupy?

There are portapotties every two blocks for the last two years. There are public bathrooms at Faultline Park, there are public bathrooms at waterfront park, there are public bathrooms, in the east village, there are public bathrooms at most trolley stops, there are public bathrooms at Sea Port Village, there are public bathrooms at the Cruise Ship Terminal, there are public bathrooms at Horton Plaza, there are public bathrooms at City Hall, there are public bathrooms at Cultural Plaza. There are fucking public bathrooms every where! That is before we count stores or restaurants.

So one of us is ignorant and the other is not.

I'm looking at Park and Market right now. there's none. Neither does City college station or any of the stops along C street where the trolley runs.

The last time I was in the official courthouse looking for the parking administration, I had to get scanned before I could get inside. If you gotta go, you ain't waiting for that shit!

The only place off the top of my head with any no-strings-attached bathrooms is that Quartyard on 13th and Market, and they have security there to discourage them from trashing it too much. (And before you spread lies about that, yes the bathrooms there are immaculate for an outdoor venue, I know because I use the dog run regularly).

The only TWO portapotties I saw were outside the library (which I'll be generous and give you that one), which, as I found out *is* set up for homeless use. Those were the only ones I saw anywhere between 6th and 17th.

I will go done there and snap picture this weekend because you are being as ignorant and clueless as when you claimed the homeless weren't shitting all over the streets downtown and in the east village... Then a few weeks later the mayor declared a public health emergency with streets and sidewalks getting pressure washed qnd bleached because the homeless were shitting all over the place and people qere dying of hep A.

I am not sure how someone can miss the giant fucking public restrooms at faultline park but they are indeed there even if you are pretending you cannot see them.

Now, I admit they have had to be closed several times because the homeless aboslutely destroyed them just like they destroyed the three plexiglass and steel one person sidewalk bathrooms the city paid $1.5 million each to install and had to remove in a record three weeks.

An extensive list of public restrooms downtown including many which are 24 hours. This does not count the portpotties which the city set up and maintains in the east village to stop the Hep A outbreak.
