As a Northern Californian, I'll tell you that Southern California begins just south of Monterey.

If you tell that to someone from SLO or Santa Barbara then they might try to fight you. Folks on the central coast (which normally includes Monterey) are proud of not being either north or south but a mix of both.

You can smell Gilroy coming from a mile away when it is garlic harvesting season. Even driving on the freeway folks are twitching their noises and saying "It stinks of garlic. We must be near Gilroy!"

That's actually pretty clever, because when someone nails him, he can just proclaim them as an atheist (whether they are one or not), then he doesn't feel obligated to engage with them anymore.

What is the measure of a "Christian" for this rule to apply? For example, I'm baptized and confirmed a Catholic, but I haven't practiced in a decade. Does Dayton have to respond to me?
