Not that enthused by the DC TV stuff so far, but credit where credit is due. A much better costume that the current comicbook versions and any of the recent Superman versions, screen and comic. I love the fact that it's so respectful of the classic look. Now why in the hell can't either DC or the movies be as respectful of Superman as that?
Suits me fine. I actually prefer the idea of Superwoman with Superman in the background (as it's been said will be the case).
They actually tackled that in the comics. Abigail Arcane got arrested for making out with Swamp Thing, and then Batman pointed out all the aliens with human significant others that would also have to be hauled in, and Gordon let her go.
Like most interpretations of superhero costumes, I think the colors are too muted. It doesn't have to be day-glow, but it also shouldn't look like she's been laboring in a coal mine.
2030's Dickynoo- (finds this thread) tch, muted colors, that's so 10's. Little did they know that day-glo fights cancer. Sad, silly bastids.
Chris Chalk is joining Gotham as Lucius Fox. http://www.superherohype.com/news/332685-homeland-star-chris-chalk-joins-gotham-as-lucius-fox
Thumbs up except for the tights, it contributes to the same issue as other DC products - why does everything have to be so DARK? Just a shade or two brighter would make a MASSIVE difference IMO
Fun fact: The suit was designed by Colleen Atwood, who did costume design on the failed "Superman Lives". so, all these years later, she finally got to finish a supersuit.
I kinda hope they lighten her hair some when they go to production. As it stands, there's no evidence of "secret identity" if Supergirl looks exactly like her supposed alter ego with no wig or anything
I like I-zombie a lot. The look and musical score of it feels an awful lot like a weird little 90's indie film.
I'm guessing partial, what with two flashes running around for at least part of next week's ep. The Wells content, while not un-expected, still packed a punch for me. Not unlike Eddie's upcoming punch to Barry.
Anyone else catch the nod to Supes 2 in the Flash ep 'Fallout' when Grodd deals with the General? Not quite verbatim, but close enough to be a nod surely? "Oh my God" "No, Grodd"
The untitled third Arrow/Flash-verse show will have Hawkirl. She'll be played by unknown newcomer Ciara Renée. Edit- One down, one to go on those mystery heroes.
So, that's both mystery heroes accounted for. Atom, Firestorm, Black Canary, Hawkgirl, and Rip Hunter. Now, they just need a title.
