    That's RICHARD.
    ;)

Anyone know if the family name Lloyd has a DC significance?

    meanwhile on The Flash....

At this point I envision the producers of Gotham and the producers of Flash/Arrow locking across a table at each other saying "You think THAT thrilled the comic geeks? Well watch THIS!"

So in one episode you get ...
    the full resolution of Firestorm
big heaping cupfuls of Wade Eiling
    a generous dollop if Reverse-Flash
AND a delightful dash of a certain hairy fellow!

    Yum!

Fully agree. The DC television shows are kicking ass. Well, except for Constantine, but that one seemed kind of half-assed right from the getgo.

Largely due to NBC's neutering (which is fucking weird, considering what they let "Hannibal", get away with).
Maybe SyFy would let it breathe.

It got better. Lots better. The last episode was very dark. And he's openly smoking now.

Stream it. Plenty of sites. Last episode may have been the best of the season, and not just because of the end reveal (which I think is a smoke screen personally).

Constantine is a bit of a different animal anyway, but I've been enjoying it.

Does someone know if Gotham has like two different teams working on that show?

It started off really weak. Then it was amazing for several weeks. Now we have Fish Mooney taking control of an illegal transplant clinic slash prison because her blade is the only thing that can hurt any person in the whole cellar, except when it's not; and Barbara moving in with two homeless girls that have taken over her flat without even asking their names, but with asking their advice for the proper dress to go on a date. I don't think I have a word for how utterly those two plots fail.

An amazing actor in a completely ludicrous role.

I'm not sure what makes 'ludicrous' bad in Batman, but somehow they've managed to find the wrong flavour.

oh and by the way, Fish has completely jumped the shark, IMO. She is entirely unnecessary to the continued development of this world.

And annoying as fuck. I would like to see more of Combs, but not as a second banana, if indeed this character is as it seems. He might have made an interesting Hugo Strange

I don't think Fish has served any purpose beyond as a vehicle for introducing more relevant characters. That was okay at first, but pointless now.

Cool. I really, really like Routh as Atom, and Firestorm is just friggin' cool! I guess they're gonna bring back Canary via the Lazarus Pit. And you know what? I'm OK with that.

I'm playing catch-up, so I only just got to this one last night. Agree, more Nicholson than Ledger, but I also saw touches of Cesar Romero in there.

    That scene where...

    was pretty fucked up.

A bit too graphic for my tastes.

I'm still watching this show regularly but its definitely got its ups and downs.

    Its not really gripping television.

We've already met most of Batman's primary villains, so now what?

They've used up all the surprises and the first season isn't even over yet.

They were also both on Smallville, but just for guest appearances...

Not feeling the Atom right now. I really hope we see some shrinking action pretty soon. Maybe as an un-intended side effect of the dwarf star material.

I assumed she existed to eventually get killed off and usurped by the Penguin. Something about the food chain and all that.
