police mismanagement played a large part, but so did a load of scumbag buffoon scouse twats who were so fucking thick they didn't think that maybe pushing into a crowded area was a bad idea.

no-one forced a load of liverpool fans to start pushing and crushing people. police stupidity provided opportunity, but scousers did the deed.

but as ever, we get a load of "echhhk, its naht ahr fahlt" :dayton:

This just demonstrates how stupid UEFA is. How can they tar Liverpool fans with the same brush? "What other fans steal tickets from fellow fans or from the hands of children?" Yes, that's the only way Liverpool fans get tickets, by stealing them from children. :dayton:
These are just lame retorts by UEFA to deflect any criticism of their role in the Athens final.
I don't remember our fans clashing with police, resulting in getting tear gassed and baton charged (which happened when ManUre fans visited Rome). Nor were Liverpools fans rioting to the extent where the club had to be kicked out of a tournament (which is what happened with Feyenoord this season).
UEFAs response has been childish. They have come in for some fair criticsm with their ticket allocation and stupid choice of a venue for the final and they respond like a bunch of arsey teenagers.

Maybe a few were, yes. Out of around 50,000 fans that were there, you will always find the odd idiots for such a huge game. I don't see how a few fans out of the many thousands that have travelled in European away games without any trouble at all should be viewed as the typical Liverpool supporter. It's like the same stupid myth many of you Scots perpetuate that all England fans are violent hooligans.

Yep, its obviously all staged the pictures swamping the news every other summer of England fans trashing up city after city.

Stallion waits patiently for the lurker to come chargeing in and say that although England are bad there are plenty others in the same boat, Holland, turkey etc.

Is that really an excuse? :?:

Even after those cunts moved the game away from their national stadium and back to the Scottish football manager grave yard up on the cliff!
