Either could be true. But, he does seem to get all ansty that UA challenges him on nearly everything.
Fact is, UA is all about the rights of some individuals... at the expense of trampling the rights of other individuals. Heightened representation for some, diminished representation for others. Bigotry, which he justifies by crying "bigotry." Nothing emo about pointing that out. Plenty emo about whining that it is being pointed out.
If you want to call Albert faster just put -gate onto something...... tis...like blood in the water....
UA's definition of "individual rights" is not something I agree with, but he's correct on gay marriage, which seems to be what John Castle is bitching about here.
Because you do not support individual rights Prick. You support the rights of the government and the collective. You piss on individual rights. P.S. Thanks for the love note.
The right to be treated fairly by the law, and the right to associate (or not) with the people you choose - both which were upheld by the New York marriage equality act that's giving poor John conniptions.
Your premise being that if marriage is defined as a union between a man and a woman, then somehow this violates the rights of people who seek some other kind of union -- or their right to associate? Or that a solution to any perceived violation of these rights must be called "marriage"? It that a "right" too? An oldie, but goodie. "Jane Galt" was Megan McArdle's pseudonym.
No, I am talking about the protection for religious institutions from being forced to sanctify gay weddings.
John Castle is griping for the sake of griping, as he seems to get off at the sound of his own voice (the reading of his own posts?!) BTW, Mr. Castle, go ahead and pull that stick out your ass, it can't feel very good.
Nope. All in favor of that, and I've said so a few times now directly in response to BS like you posted there.
It's not as if he thinks his right to convenient, affordable healthcare trumps a person's right to ask a question. Oh wait. It's exactly as if that.
Griping? Nah. I'm ing. Would have been even more fun if Albert had stepped up, but -- likely as with most of what goes on in his life -- his presence is not strictly required. Why, you need it? Did the popsicle you were using finally melt?
