I had to check the dates because I thought I was reading an old thread.....

I sometimes will send a pm to someone explaining why nothing has been done if I'm the first person to see a report. As was said SOP isn't to do so though, and I wouldn't have for that report simply because it seemed like a really straight forward and non-controversial call. People are always free to pm a mod or start a thread like this if they think something hasn't been addressed though.

The South Park Zeitgeist is built around killing a child. Nothing else they do should surprise or shock anyone.

Maybe it should be a thing in future that every mod notification gets at least some kind of response within 48 hours, even if it's just a "fuck off" or "we're discussing it."


Might help save people from starting HD threads that turn into shitstorms.

Somehow I doubt that would stop Demiurge.

It's always a shame to see posters leave, but I have to admit that anyone who would call that a "child sex act" and leave the board over it probably should leave. This is just a continuation of the path that Demi has taken ever since he began his hard left turn a couple of years ago: He obviously has issues, probably stemming from RL situations that we don't know about, and if that small of a molehill is going to be made into such a big mountain in his mind, it would be better for him not to post at WF. This isn't the kind of "let's all compliment each other and sing Kumbaya together" place where no one is ever going to be offended.

If he is ever able to deal with whatever the issues are that cause him to get so upset with people so easily, he can come back and enjoy this place again. Until then, posting here, or even lurking here, will just cause him more upset.

Balls. Demi asked for his account to be deleted. Why hasn't it been? It's not as if he's not free to create a new one in the future. Membership requests should not be dismissed so easily.

We do not delete accounts, ever, unless there is some compelling real life reason why.

Deleting an account can screw up all kinds of stuff on the board and isn't worth the hassle it can cause.

I don't know about accounts (and they certainly have been deleted in the past) but deleting stuff wholesale tends to cause trouble for the board. As an example pretty much no threads are ever deleted, just shunted into an unreadable forum.

First of all, no, that has nothing to do with it. Second, I like Clyde fine, and Muad more so than that. Lanz has my blessing to delete you and Dayton, though, along with any other JJTrek haters.
