if people don't have an interest, they won't buy and gun dealerships will go out of business. problem solved. guns are already widely available in many parts of the country, and the price is dropping. how, with any semblance of reason, can you argue for a situation where the only people with expectations of being armed are criminals, and said criminals can find them with the same ease they can access drugs? in many cities there are daily gun crimes, and its spreading as criminals and drug dealers expand their black market businesses. its no wonder fear of crime is increasing.
I think at some point we may have to legalise guns to protect us from increasing crime. But i think that day is a long way off yet, if ever, in britain
