This thread yet again illustrates how bizarre American partisanship has become. Poodle and his alt-right ilk equate a child survivor of a gun massacre to a Nazi, yet when actual Neo-Nazis march through towns the alt-right hero in chief Trump calls them "very fine people" and suddenly the debate is about how evil the counter protesters were and statues.

So, in conclusion, either the alt-right don't have a fucking clue what a Nazi is or Hogg is "very fine people".

Most politicians only think about the next election. If they were able to think beyond that, our country would be in much better shape For starters, we'd have a space program with long-term goals, and not constantly told to prep for one mission, only to have that yanked out from under them a few years later. As for how long this will last, that's up in the air. The Parkland students, however, have managed to stay in the news cycle far longer than the victims of previous shootings. It's anybody's guess how much longer it'll last, but liberals like Laura Ingraham are certainly doing their best to keep them in the news.
