Don't be daft. First, not everything is about you. Second, your imaginings of people's butts is hysterical. Again, it's nothing about you. I simply find your reading of his comment to be retarded. It's as though he posted "I like cats," to which you replied, "oh, so you're another one who doesn't like cats, how despicable."
So you're making the case that asking for religious rules to be integrated into law is NOT closer to theocracy and ideas like Sharia? Come on big boy. You want to try and get one over me, let's thrash this through.
Nope. I'm making the case that Rusty never said a damn thing about that. Were you confused about who you addressed in that comment?
Seriously, go back and read Rusty's posts, then tell the class where he called for religious based law. Also, about the word coward. You keep using that word, but I do not think you know the meaning of it.
Read the fucking thread you utter tool. Why are you talking about "Rusty"??? You referred to Dayton, who clearly said he wanted religious rules to be integrated into law. What about this is complicated for you?
The position of Pope or for that matter most of the structure of the Catholic church is not mentioned in the Bible.
@Goldstein the Space Jew Are you fucking insane? Read this fucking post, then tell me how it relates to Dayton:
Yes. @gul has quoted the post. I'm sure Chup will apologize and offer to send you money for your emotional injury now.
Fine. Cite chapter and verse regarding the position of pope, monsignor, or the Vatican and so forth in the Bible
The social pressure, or the experimentation itself? I would expect the latter is still fully in effect - that many hormones racing about in teens is bound to lead to trying stuff outside the "norms". Girls tend to be more tactile with friends, cultural stuff like sleepovers/PJ parties that they can get away with that guys can't... There's extensive further evidence on RedTube.
Fair enough. However, it seems of small importance to me, and one could argue that Jesus told Peter to speak in his name and organise the church. But that's theological nitpicking. What is important when it comes to Christian theology is the nature of Jesus and man's place in the universe. And most important, how man should act to obey the laws of God to earn eternal life on God's side. It is about the big, existential questions, not about details. If God allows homosexuality is not one of these important questions, IMO. The Mosaic Laws are an interesting aspect of Christianity, I give you this. However, the God of past millenia was a small one, and when people became more clever, the idea of God grew with them. It keeps growing. If you really believe in God, you know well that his nature and motives are hidden and scripture does not explain his will. God is bigger than scripture. Or Christianity as a whole and all other belief systems. Religion is a cultural thing. It tells us about our hopes and fears, about ourselves. It doesn't tell us anything about "God", IMO.
Yeah, because's a master's and doctorate from Princeton are so much toilet paper. I've posted where he works, its a simple matter to send him an email to ask him if he has a step-brother who lives in TN (he's got two, I'm one of them, my elder brother Doug is the other). I've given you in other recent posts enough information that you can quiz him on to verify that we are step-brothers. You know, like his wife is being treated for leukemia and that his daughter is going to Wartburg College in Davenport, IA. (Famous for the house in the American Gothic painting.) That's all pretty weird shit, and not exactly easy information to come by, as well as not the kind of shit someone would make up if they were attempting to troll people. You want to get really creepy, ask him if his father died of stomach cancer and ever worked for Gravely tractor. The answer to both those questions is "Yes." You might also ask him if I made a joke when I was young about his mother dying of cancer (because I'd never been told how Mack's dad died). And your attempt at deflection has failed. Again. You've ignored my other questions.
