Except he didn't really comment on Waffle House customers. He was engaged in the common and completely accepted liberal passtime of insulting the south. It's a giant raging hypocrisy that liberals engage in on a regular basis insulting and demeaning the south and rural areas...yet they are the same people who get all self righteous if you stereotype any other group. They then try to play it off with bullshit about it being jokes. It doesn't matter that a white person or god forbid a southern make the same type of joke would be branded a racist.
