I did post that, yes, and I stand by it. What's happening to those children is child abuse. It shouldn't be tolerated at all. When Obama did it, and I found out about it, I condemned him for it (to the point now where I cannot stand the man), because my politics aren't about who I like the most, it's what they do to the most vulnerable. If you can see what Joe Biden is doing and saying it's different, or that Obama was different from what Trump did, despite the evil actions being taken, then if you cannot at least condemn it, what are you doing about it?
The reason is because I'm starting to let go of old bullshit and I'm starting to see things from your prospective. I'm still more of a libertarian and a capitalist at heart, but I'm starting to accept that it's not going to break the bank to help people out financially. Our politicians don't give a shit about the debt so why should I? Also, we've bailed out so many billionaires over the past 20 years that I think it's our time to get bailed out. This pandemic has gotten me to that position.
I appreciate your willingness to keep an open mind about things. Honestly, when I first came back, it felt like old home week, I mean I didn't recognize some of you at first because of usernames, but I was so glad to see you again. Being here 16 years, you don't forget the people, even if you think it's bad to hang around all of the time. Believe it or not, I managed to make strides with a number of libertarians while I was away, and while we didn't agree often, we did get that both of us wanted freedom for everyone, even if our methods were wholly different. So I tried to keep an open mind as well.
Yeah, I've pretty much said everything I can say on it, it's just going to keep going around. The words are there, that should be enough.
I started watching Jimmy Dore when Tulsi Gabbard was running for president. I don't always agree with his politics, but he's a much better "journalist" than the MSM and he's a freaking comedian. When he's right, like he was with the Russian Bounty story, he's really right. I love it because it makes mainstream Democrats look like fools.
I like Jimmy, too. Yeah, I don't always agree with him, either, but he's very direct, and I love that about him. If he thinks something's bullshit, he'll call it out. If he ends up being wrong, he apologizes, and he likes to say "I'm just some jagoff comedian" to get the point across that this is where we are in political discourse anymore.

I promised I would have patience with people as I worked out everything in my own head, and if I snapped at you, there was no excuse for that, and I broke my word, and I HATE breaking my word for any reason.
